We just started taking our 2 dogs here, and so far so good! As someone who was formerly in the vet industry for over a decade, I tend to be picky about vets :)
The vets are super knowledgable, have a wonderful bedside manner, and are great with our dogs. The techs and reception staff are wonderful, too. Oh, and they’re reasonably priced!

Horrible place, very rude staff.
They know better than everyone. Do your animals a favor and go anywhere else. Never again. See the negative reviews below and think twice. Do your research. Good hunch these folks write their own reviews. Their response to criticism is to label you as «an uneducated and entitled pet owner», which perfectly captures their «we are smarter than you» attitude.
Drive on to Fridley and use a different vet. Check with Petco and Petsmart– See if they recommend this place!

I have been bringing my cats here for many years, and I have had nothing but the best service and concern for both me and my pets. They let me know what my options and costs are up front, and they make very quality referrals for specialty care. I am very grateful for each and every staff person at Camden. I highly recommend them to my neighbors and friends.

I just recently adopted a Samoyed (Artie) and he has gotten ill. We went in to this clinic and it was amazing!!! The doctor made us so comfortable and answered all my questions. The doctor never once showed me any impatience, wrote Artie a prescription with clear instructions, helped me understand why Artie might need an x-​ray if he keeps coughing and the meds don’t work well enough. I felt like I got the information/​help I was seeking from beginning (setting up the appointment) to the end (leaving the appointment more confident) from the staff, technician and vet. This will be my Artie’s doctor from now on. They were absolutely wonderful.

We have a 4 year old Boxer/​Pit mix and he seems to find a way to hurt himself about every 3 months. We went to Camden when we moved to Minneapolis last fall. The area is kind of ghetto (it is a lower income N. Mpls area) but the people who work here are amazing! Everyone is really nice, friendly, and always understanding of a hyper dog jumping up at the counter to say hello.
Our dog recently had a curled nail that was causing him a lot of pain. Dr. Kelsey did everything she could to fix the nail without causing our dog any more pain. Ultimately, we had to sedate him to cut the nail back. I was given a estimation of the cost and I was shocked when the total cost was at $ 170! I was expecting a bill of at least $ 300 based on what I had heard on the internet about similar procedures.
If that wasn’t good enough, they said I could drop my dog off anytime after 7am the next day even though his surgery wasn’t until 11am. They also said they would hold on to him and I could pick him up after work before 6pm! Not only was it going to be cheaper than I expected, but I didn’t have to take time off work to do it!
But wait, it gets better. They follow up on their appointments. I usually get a call 1 – 2 days after bringing him in just to see how he’s doing and if he’s having any issues with medications or bandages. I even got a call asking if I wanted to bring him in and they would cut off a bandage on his foot for free and then they could see how it was healing.
To sum it up, this place rocks. The doctors, technicians, and receptionists are all great, professional, and really care about animals. Dr. Kelsey is amazing with our high-​energy dog and the prices are always extremely competitive. We’ll continue to go to this vet as long as we live in NE Minneapolis.
Oh…and don’t pay attention to Daisy’s review. Why bother to write a review if you’re just going to be vague about the «disturbing» info you found? Sounds like you are an inexperienced and self-​entitled pet owner.

Do a great job at taking care of your hairy kids. They really help me with the end of life issues of my previous dog they’re always kind and considerate

We just moved to Mpls from NYC where we had to leave our spectacular vet. We were dreading the search and we figured that we’d have to make a few appointments over time, at different places to find a vet that we liked. I did some research and Camden’s prices were approximately 10.00 less per office visit and 60.00 less per neuter compared to other vets. When we walked in the office was cleanly, we were greeted kindly and we were almost immediately seen by the assistant and doctor. The doctor spent 45 minutes discussing the million questions I had and she never seemed rushed. She also talked us out of a couple tests to save $. Afterwards it took a day and a half to get our results back but Overall, I think we found an good veterinarian!
