Holy crap I could not believe this place. White woman and man with a child working there dropping the n word like it was nothing. Told the woman I was with they were going to slap her in the mouth and bust her head open. And they WORKED there, I could not believe it!!!

A deli inside a grocery store.
Cedar Food & Grill used to be quite the stop for me whenever I lived in Seward. It is a small mom & pop grocery store with an adequate deli inside. On a quest to find the BEST PHILLY Sandwich in the city, I stumbled on here once. The Philly Sandwich here is a dud. The large Jumbo Wing Party Platter is pretty delicious actually. We have used it in the past when I lived in Seward. Nothing really stands out to me from their menu other than, it is a no non-sense, CHEAP place to grab a bite to-go when you are in the area.
TIP: The board menu has rotating specials every other-day.

I remember going to this place when I was about 10 years old. I went to purchase some candy and the cashier/owner entered it in as 50 cents each. I politely showed him the 35 cent sticker on the side of the box. He then told me that it’s the price the store paid for the candy and that if he sold it for 35 cents, they would make no profit. Being the trusting and naïve kid, I accepted what he said as truth and went to purchase the candy anyways. Now that I’m an adult, I realize that he was lying. The sicker was a small orange sticker that they used for all their items. If this place has the audacity to rip off a kid, just imagine what else they are capable of. I feel disgusted every time I walk by this place.
