Fun fact: Minneapolis used to have its own stock exchange. Isn’t that crazy? Then, it closed down for a really long time until Coco Minneapolis opened it up. And, I’m so glad they did. With beautiful vaulted ceilings, ample space, gorgeous marble walls, fun beanbag seats, cool tent meeting rooms, tons of light, and the original stock exchange billboard up, it’s probably THE best workplace in the Twin Cities. No wonder this place is a hub to so many innovative ideas! BTW, free coffee! Who doesn’t love free coffee? I’ve visited a couple times in the past and had the awesome opportunity to return yesterday for a Google sponsored networking event called Go-Do. I met everyone from some magazine editors to android developers. Pretty cool! If I had a startup, I would definitely consider paying the fee for renting out a space!
