Exceptionally mediocre. Hats off to the individual who thought of this restaurant’s concept because nothing encapsulates mediocrity better than DP Dough. If you are quite literally out of options and desperate for some food, DP Dough will marginally satisfy you.

I loooove DP dough! Awesome for delivery, especially late nights. The calzone is big enough for two people too!

Great calzones especially if you customize your own calzone! Employees are friendly and pretty timely and the place itself is well kept. A local favorite

The calzones are fine if you are too drunk to remember that you overpaid for this low-quality food. The dough is overcooked on the outside and still too chewy on the inside. Bought a cookie for $ 1.50 and opened the box to a burnt surprise. The wait was approximately 15 minutes with no one else in the restaurant. I really want this business to succeed but no way can I recommend this place based on quality of the food currently being served. Been there twice, disappointed twice. Avoid at all cost.

*This Review Is Based Solely On Delivery Service Calzone and wings? I’m in! D.P. Dough is a recent addition to Dinkytown /The University of Minn. Campus. D.P. Dough serves up calzones, wings, breadsticks and tots. I’ve never stepped into D.P. Dough but my co-workers and I have ordered from D.P. Dough on several occasions, allowing me sample bits and pieces of the menu. The Break Down: Menu: Calzones, Wings, Tots, Small Selection of Desserts & Salads\ I’ve sampled a couple of the calzones and I thought they were just okay. The calzones are big portion wise and one calzone can definitely be split between two people. I personally prefer the calzones at Davanni’s over D.P. Dough’s .The Boneless wings/dunkers were soaked in BBQ sauce that seemed to save the wings. The meat quality was average based on the price of $ 5.95 for a ½ lb. If you’re looking for delivery wings I’d honestly suggest a pizza chain like Papa Johns or Pizza Hut over these wings. The Cheesestix were oily and had more cheese than ever necessary(coming from someone who inhales cheese). Food Quality: I know these restaurants are very different from D.P. Dough, however these are the places that came to mind; A step above Little Caesars & Dominos. Parking: Street or Ramp if you’re lucky enough to find it. Price: Most Items are under $ 10. Overall, D.P. Dough is priced well for a college campus fast-casual restaurant. Take Out, Delivery & Online Ordering Available. Cool fact, you can earn points/rewards when ordering online. Summary: I was disappointed by D.P. Dough based on taste and quality of the food. I think they have a great concept and pricing, however I’d rather spend a few more dollars at a different restaurant when it comes to wings, tots and calzones. D. P. Dough isn’t a bad place to go, but not a place I’ll frequent when there’s so many better options in the same price range and area.

I wanted so badly to love D.P. Dough. New calzone place in Dinkytown promised a big menu with great specials and local delivery for only $ 1.50. It hurts me that I didn’t care for it and probably won’t go back(unless I only have $ 6 and need to get the Zone of the Day). I find it very insulting though, that I paid $ 7.50 for the Roni Zoni and was fed Hormel pepperoni. That package of pepperoni costs $ 1, talk about a mark-up. The bread was good and it delivered on the cheeses and sauce, but nothing to call home about. I think the quality of their food needs to go up before I’d commit to being a customer.
