Over crowded. Girls are not fit. One tried to cheat me into giving only half a song. The seating and layout is pretty pathetic. The dancers and very far. Open seat lap dance was not private enough. You will have ppl ogling at you. The girls don’t even notice you. Michigan. Offers much better strip clubs. I am not going back again.

What a bunch of haters — there is a reason this place has been around for years. It’s the best in the city. (for single guys anyway) We take our Team MVPs and new rookies/​recruits here every season and it never disappoints. The door and drink charge puts a hit on your wallet but you can usually find free passes are random spots. The stage show is meeeeeh, the thirsty customers sitting on sniffers row is more entertaining than the girls sometimes — but if you want stage shows go check out the other joints in town. If you are trying to get your junk rubbed on from a gyrating dancer in a private booth or bed while Motley Crue blasts — then this is pure heaven. Most girls have daddy or boyfriend issues so it’s a fun psychological study while they jam there fake breasts caked with sweet smelling stripper powder in your face. If you leave with a stain on your pants, smile on your face and reek of Vicotria Secret spray, then you had a successful night — and a new star outfielder on your squad.

Most girls working on almost any given night very nice crowd unlike most other clubs in the area the door man that works almost every night remembers me every time and greets me by name makes me feel appreciated I will keep coming here for sure

One thing I like about the Vu is that they keep the stage going to entertain the customers even when there is only a few people there, other clubs let the girls just sit around until things get really busy.
as far as the girls. I would say usually 75% of them are worth looking at, not many perfect 10s but a lot of above average looking girls. compared to other clubs, Déjà vu usually has more girls working at a time except during day shift, so you usually have a decent variety going on. Most of the girls working at this club are very to the point as far as wanting to make money and getting you to a couch or bed dance. There is not as much of the girls hanging out and just having casual conversations with guys as some other clubs I have been to. In times past there was a problem with girls being rude or overly pushy, not so much any more, most of the time the girls seem a bit more tactful and take rejection of a dance offer better than a few years ago it seems to me.
there is no alcohol at the club, but Deja Vu also owns «the office» next door, you can freely go back and forth between the two. In addition to alcohol, the food at the office is actually good, though be it a bit on the pricey side. you can get a stamp on your hand and then come back from anywhere the same day and not have to worry about paying cover again.
Generally, the quality of the lap and bed dances done by most of the girls is not as great as at some of the other clubs I have been to, but then again, better than some as well, but that varies a lot from girl to girl as you might expect, there are a few who do know how to give a good dance at the vu. the second flow vip is a good value comparatively speaking: to get there you just need to buy 3 regular priced dances (20 a song so 60 total) compare that to other clubs which can charge as much as 150 or more for 15 minutes. That said, there is a no touching rule (the girls touch you, but you can’t feel them up) which is more strictly held to than at some other places.
the overall atmosphere is average. not the best looking or cleanest place but not totally filthy or low class looking either. They have improved the smoking lounge in recent years, but it is also smaller now. no more game room either, as these spaces where used to create «the office» bar and grill.
The combo of the cover charge and drink is a bit on the high side ($ 19 or so) but factor in that you can leave and come back, free parking in the back, and the drinks are unlimited and include bottled water and it kind of evens out.

If I could give negative or zero stars I would. This place is a rip off and staffs are rude. Never will I step foot in here ever again.

Here’s a great tip for you all … Go next door to J.D. Hoyts. If you buy a drink there (out of curtesy) you can ask for a pass to the Vu. (Well any club for that matter) They have free cover passes!
But here is where we went wrong and you can do it right …
1. We didn’t think to ask how many ladies were working
2. We agreed to each purchase a beverage.
So… Be sure to ask how many ladies are «on the clock»… So you won’t be disappointed to find out 2 … Yes 2 ladies are working !!
We did go pretty early in the night but 2???
Someone needs to teach the person in charge of the schedule that more ladies = more revenue $$!!
After keeping our promise of buying 2 beverages (POP and a water) at $ 9.00 each… And after sitting there for 10 minutes looking at an empty stage, I finally asked a staff member what was going on.
After learning there were 2 ladies on the clock (we only saw one the whole time) we asked the manager for our money back. The coward turned his back to me and mumbled «no refunds «
We gladly walked out and went to another venue that was much more staffed, had an alcoholic beverage and got first class treatment the second we walked in.
The best tip would be: Go the few extra blocks to another venue !!

I made the mistake of coming here again while in Minnesota (thankfully I also went to King of Diamonds as well) and I regret wasting my time and money immensely. The dancers are hit or miss on following the protocol of an all-​nude club. At one point five dancers in a row didn’t even attempt to get fully nude and overall about half of them didn’t even consider it. What upsets me the most is the «manager» that I said something to last time was there and didn’t bat an eye at the lack of effort. He didn’t do anything to fix it, neither did the DJ. I used to tell everyone that if they are in Minnesota they have to check out this place, now in employee everyone to avoid this place like the plague. I will never step foot in any of the clubs owned by this company ever again and I will do my best to tell as many people as I possibly can to make the extra drive to go to King of Diamonds when in town, and I will continue to tell Minnesotans I know the same thing.

Interesting place… The only place in Minnesota I’ve been robbed– dancer named ‘Naomi’… And the bouncers stood by her. ‘If you agreed to a dance you owe $ 90… Doesn’t matter if she left or not…’ If it weren’t for her and the staff it’d be a great place. Nude, dances are on beds $ 90 for 3… Or, apparently, 10 seconds. Overall a good after hours club. However, recommend you watch… Should’ve realized when she asked for money at the start it was different than a real dance. Buyer beware.

Awful — just awful ! PLEASE get new girls that actually want to get on the pole.

Every time I have been there I have been drug as the sober cab. I always want to run away screaming. If you take the time to look around and not at the trashy women there. You will notice
Its dirty, the game room hasn’t been updated in 10 years. There is scum dripping off the walls. If you have the chance to go to the smoking lounge outside (I don’t smoke but I was drug by the same friend) its a little wood walled shack outside with 3 video camera’s torn cloth chairs and trash talking strippers. If you are a guy and think the girls are hot just go out and see them smoke and listen to them talk about their kids at home and all the nasty problems they have.
If you go here because you are a sober cab, eat something before you go because the pop has something wrong with it and will make you ill to your gut.
Get a good NO face on because they will try to force you into a lap dance
Bring some disinfectant wipes for when the strippers rub on you when you are saying no
Oh and did I say don’t ever go there =)
The best time I have had there was talking to the door guy about all the freaks that go there.
I’m sorry but if you are looking for some adult companionship get some friends or try an on-​line dating service.
I have seen people drop $ 500 on a third floor lap dance just because they had money and not enough self esteem to get a date or say no when the stripper was all over them.
I think the women that work here would be excellent used car sales people because they have the pushiest sale I have seen around.

The Vu is the only strip club I have ever been to, and my review might be bias because I was there with a gang of Norwegian exchange students.
But ugghhhh VAGINA in my face. And uggghh that girl isn’t even that attractive! Unattractive lady parts in my face!
This is The Penthouse of strip clubs. If it’s vagina in your face you are looking for. this place is paradise.
And really? Don’t these people get tired of having to listen to 2 Live Crew?

I used to come here all the time when I was 18. 11 years later, not so much. I stopped in after a Twins game earlier this year because they advertise FREE COVER. What they don’t tell you is you still have to buy a soda. Last time I was here, a soda cost $ 6. It is now $ 9. How can you advertise for no cover, but it still costs $ 9 to get in. What a scam.
Also, back in the day, there used to be seriously 40 – 50 strippers working. Now, maybe 10. And the quality has gone down quite a bit lately. The complete opposite of the Lamp Lighter phenomenon.
