Katherine Krumwiede was fantastic. It was my first time doing acupuncture and she made me feel very comfortable. She talked me through everything she was doing and explained why she was doing it. She’s obviously very knowledgeable and has gone through extensive training in oriental medicine. I went back for another session and she did more to enhance the treatment. Not only did she do basic acupuncture(with more needles this time, because I knew what to expect this time around), she also did cupping on me with no extra charge for the appointment. She’s really about ‘home care’ and made sure to send me home with tinctures, probiotics and suggestions of things I could do myself to lead a healthier lifestyle. All in all both times were a great experience, and while right now going regularly for me isn’t a necessity, I will definitely be back in the future. Note: Katherine’s acupuncture business is in the building called Avenues of Heath, across the street from the Walgreen’s and Kowalski’s on Hennepin Ave. She shares the building with a couple of chiropractors and a massage therapist. It’s kind of weird when you first walk in because you feel like you’re walking into someones house, but don’t be thrown off, it adds to the warm feel of the place!
