One must do better than Starbucks to survive and here we also have Caribou as a coffee «giant». There are three kinds of brewed coffee and the «robust» one is quite good. The pastries are freshly made on premise and also very good. Is it really better than Starbucks, definitely! But it is hidden in the skyway and not open over weekends.
I think it is a very good choice, but not going out of the way to get its coffee.

As most know, Dunn Bros are franchised owned, and this location is my favorite. The staff and owner are so friendly and call most customers by name. I love the funkiness of the staff too, a juxtaposition in the «financial district» of Minneapolis. They are located at one of the busiest arteries of the skyway system and no matter the length of the line, they really whip us through.
I have a favor of the other customers… please queue along the east window and do not block the skyway though.

Yes a chain but you can’t say no to strong coffee and friendly baristas. Very close to my work and quick stop when I need my morning or afternoon caffeine fix with a quick trip through the skyway
My co-​worker buys her beans here and she swears by it, I haven’t had the chance to buy a bag to try but it’s on my list… eventually.
Fridays you get 15% off your purchase of coffee beans and they will grind to your preference.
Best cappuccino I have had compared to the other two big chains I can go to downtown.
Great service, have never had any complaints about any of the staff there. Everyone is friendly and gets my drink right each time I have been here

Dunn Bros Coffee was pretty good. I ordered an iced coffee. It was super smooth and not even slightly acidic.
I also enjoyed the outdoor seating. I watched a man play bagpipes. I heard a preacher yell over traffic. I watched a lonely man await a chess opponent. Overall, It was wonderful!

I have officially earned the term «regular» when the gal at the counter asked if I want the usually. Medium light-​roast with almond syrup. Amazing.
I love all Dunn Brothers because of how unique and cozy they are to the various locations. Granted this tiny corner counter in the skyway by work does showcase the character of the rest of the chain, they still serve up an authenic cup of coffee and delightfully will either have a pistachio, cherry vanilla, or red velvet muffin (aka breakfast cupcake) available quick!

Yup I am in love with this place. A lot has changed since 2010, new management and great staff. They really get tho you and you want to get to know them. And the coffee is great! I am not a fru fru coffee drinker but I do like a good cup of joe! And now my office is closer so even better.

I {heart} Dunn Brothers, and more specifically, this one in the skyway downtown Minneapolis. Unusual for a Dunn Brothers, in that it’s not in an historic building, it’s just so super friendly! I stop here from time to time, and always order a medium half-​caramel skim latte. They get it right every time, and it’s always soooooooo creamy! Everyone that works there is friendly, but not in a fake-​smile kind of way — no matter how busy it gets!

They are so quick here! I have always been very satisfied with my coffee purchases here. Their pastries could use some revamping but I just grab something in the skyway elsewhere.

When it comes to coffee Dunn Brothers really knows it’s stuff! They aren’t all sugar like Caribou (blechh) and they are most assuredly not all pretentious (like Starbucks).
I stopped down here for an espresso drink and also looked into getting a «day old bakery» item. What I got was a medium latte with 4 shots of espresso, a coupon for a free drink next time, and a pumpkin muffin with cream cheese florette on top, all for under $ 5.
Seriously? I’m used to paying more than that for just my drink!
The people that work here are pretty awesome too, they are very laid back and easy to get along with. I love it!!! Thank the Lord this Dunn Brothers is basically attached to my work!

Their coffee is pretty good, and they’re conveniently located in the skyway in the TCF building, but their blueberry muffins are awful: dry, sweet yet without any actual flavor, and severely lacking in blueberries. From now on, if I want to splurge on a fancy coffee drink and muffin, I’m going to Caribou.
