Though what the store has to offer is immaculate, the variety of which is not all too expansive. As is with other reviews, the staff is NOT friendly to new faces. Highlight of the visit it the delicious Jewish deli two stores down. Both the food and staff are absolutely wonderful!

A small but packed bookstore filled with Judaica and a friendly owner. From cookbooks to Bibles to Talmud to mysteries to Yiddish humor, the selection of books covers a lot of ground. There are candles and menorahs and yarmelkes and other useful items. In the same small mall as a kosher restaurant and a kosher grocery store.

I have been going to Elijah’s Cup since I was a kid with my Grandmother. I loved the visits, because I could browse through all of the books she has there, and take in all sorts of new knowledge. I am now a mother of 3 children, abd live around 4 – 5 hours away and still make visits to this wonderful place. The owner is more than happy to order in things for you that she may not have on hand. But I assure you if you stop in, you’ll find more than you were coming to look for either way. Love the books, love the judaica items. nice charming little place, that is very welcoming. You can feel the love and dedication she has to her store and her customers each time you walk in.

I’ve been coming to Elijah’s Cup for nearly 20 years and my favorite part is that the owner really knows her customers. She takes the time to learn what they like and what they’re looking for. If she doesn’t have it in stock, she’s happy to find it and order it. It’s the kind of store you can just drop in to see what new Jewish books are in or see art and jewelry from both local and nationally-known artists. She’s very supportive of the local Jewish community, no matter which side of the river you’re coming from! I’ve gone there for everything from the best Tikkun for my needs to a toddler’s kiddush cup. She’s never too busy to help her customers, and she’s one of the most down-to-earth, authentic people I know. When I need Judaica items, Jewish books, or just a new kippah, Elijah’s Cup is my destination.

Elijah’s Cup is a Jewish book and gift store that serves the rather diverse community in the St. Louis Park area. These sort of places are integral to the community for that correct Kosher Mezuzah, that special Kiddush Cup for the deserving B’nai Mitzvah child, Hebrew language materials, and a place for folks to meet and kibitz. Jewish book stores are also a reflection of their community and their associated observance and insularity. So in my limited experience at Elijah’s Cup, the décor is plain, the on site selection is limited but acceptable, and the folks are polite but cautious to any outsider.
