If you’ve ever contemplated Goddess Nails, save your money, walk over to Burger Jones instead or go get your vadge waxed. The absolute worst gel manicure I’ve ever had in my life(5÷03÷2016) Note* I’ve been getting my nails done since the 80’s. I needed one tip. The nail tech screwed it all up, I mean it’s fine if you like flat surf board looking nails. Just NO. To top it all off I tried letting them rectify their mistake but was rudely brushed off and told to come back. I don’t know the name of the girl that did my nails, I can tell you this, zero English, long hair with bangs. Oh let’s not forget the filth, just totally dirty with a capital D! Ick, steer clear of this place, run. Hope this helped. After reading all this, if you try this place anyway, that’s your fault.

Tracy knows what’s up… Her technique for gel manicure with tips is brilliant and she gets it that you shouldn’t walk away with acrylic bricks on your fingers. And there’s a sweet younger woman who is also great. As for the other tech, Nancy, I think, she actually asked me why I wasn’t tipping her when I paid by card on my only visit to her. I had my cash tip in my wallet but we hadn’t even gotten to that point where I could give my tip. She gave me gel bricks on that appointment as well and didn’t ask what shape I had previously … Just assumed I wanted rounded nails and did her own thing.

I wasn’t sure about going in here because they had some bad reviews but I had some time to kill so decided to see for myself. Personally, I thought they did a great job! I got a basic pedi and a gel manicure. It was 56 bucks and they were very friendly and professional. I would for sure recommend this package to friends.

Pros: Nancy does the best quick manicures pedicures and she’s so nice. Cons: Parking is a bit rough sometimes with Rustica, Punch, and Burger Jones and I wish the pedicures were a bit stronger on the tougher callouses. I usually call when I’m 5 – 10 mins away and they always fit me in. So a lot of nail techs are afraid to paint to the cuticle(leaving a hair of a space between the color and cuticle) but Nancy gets so close. I ask for this because my nails grow unfortunately fast so within 3 days, it looks as if it’s been 2 weeks since getting your nails painted. They have a good assortment of gels and regular polishes but I typically bring my own(control freak). The girls are always very nice and friendly. I would recommend this place if you’re in the Minneapolis metro near Calhoun and need a break! Ask for Nancy; she’s my favorite.

Worst customer service. Very rude and umprofessional. Got a pedicure and manicure done andaccidentally scraped my toe on the corner of the chair. I had asked the nail tech to help me fix it. She have me a sigh and looked at me like I did something terribly wrong. Won’t return here again !!!

Wow! Tech just scraped and pulled gel polish off my toes. No acetone soak. I said«wait, don’t you need to soak them?» Answer«no». Who cares what’s happens next. I won’t return here. Be warned.

I hate leaving negative reviews as I understand it affects the business. But, I would not come back here. I got an acrylic fill. It took the girl an hour & she seemed like she was afraid of the sander. I got a flower design, convinced my self it looked fine until my friend asked me if it was a soccer ball. It’s over priced for the quality you get. I’ll never cheat on my nail tech again.

Another Vietnamese nail salon… Goddess nails is a bit low on the side of cleanliness, and I have to talk to three people before they will do a pedicure with non-latex gloves(I have a severe allergy). However, there is one girl who does really awesome designs.

Rude. Not clean. Disgusting older Asian man(manager) spotted picking his nose and not washing hands. Will not be back.

I had a deluxe manicure here. They put a cooling cream on my feet and then wrapped it in towels. It started to feel like a burn after a few minutes. Then my 15 minute massage was dry oil rubbed on my shins while they wore rubber gloves. OW! Not pleasant at all. Plus the salon smelled so strong of fumes. The place seems dirty and poorly ventilated. When it came to my manicure they put lotion on my hands and then had me wash them. Never seen that before! They took a credit card, but not before asking for cash.

I was in a pinch and needed a shellac manicure ASAP for a wedding I was attending. I had just gotten my hair done nearby and I wanted to place I could go to quick. I will say I was very nervous when I first walked in because it wasn’t the best kept nail salon I’ve ever seen. That said, they did an amazing job on my French shellac manicure. I have never had anyone be so meticulous and get my nails exactly right. She didn’t rush and made sure I was happy with the results the entire time. Note — They ONLY take cash, no checks and no cards.

I really thought that all nail places were essentially the same, but I was wrong. I was pretty upset when they sat me down in a broken chair(so not only no massage but massage arms pressing into your back the whole time) and they wouldn’t let me move. I consider that the best part of the experience! I know countless better nail places to visit, and would not return to Goddess Nails.

This place has always done an exquisite job on my friend’s and my nails. I started coming here after I got a manicure and pedicure for prom and keep returning. The staff is knowledgeable and very pleasant. Their prices are comparable to just about any other salon; however, the service is much better. They take their time and get everything done right. I’ve never made an appointment. You can usually walk in and be seated in a chair within 10 minutes. I used to live 2 blocks away, but now I’m 20 miles away. I still make the commute to get my nails done at this location.
