I had the absolute best burger of my life here a few weeks ago. The burger was cooked to perfection, there was just the right amount of seasonings, the fries were a great accompaniment, I couldn’t have asked for a better meal! The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Next time I am in Minneapolis looking for a burger I know exactly where I am going, Jacksons Hole!

We stopped in on a Saturday night after being told there was a two hour wait at the Red Cow a block away. Our group of seven was able to take a table right away and received quick service. I had the BBQ pulled pork sliders with fries and they were actually pretty good, everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals as well. The second level, which has a pool table, TVs, and games, was completely empty and I’m not sure if it was due to the lack of customers or the fact that it was a bit dingy. Overall, its a good spot to catch a game and have a few beers and appetizers.

A couple of ‘not great’ reviews on here, but I’ve always had good food, and good service at Jackson’s Hole! I go for lunch at least once a week(sometimes twice), and my food is always tasty. it’s usually ready in less than 10 minutes, and I’ve never had anything less than friendly and professional service. I cant comment on the dinner hour or weekends, but during the week for lunch– it’s great!

Went there, had been there before very disgusted that we did not get happy hour prices because of a concert also got charged for 4 drinks instead of just 2 charged our grandson over 2 bucks for a pop, food was not really that great. Well all I can say is we had to send the waitress back to the bar 3 times for all the errors on the bill Not Going Back DONE !

Stopped in on a Wednesday evening 5−6ish and it wasn’t busy. Waitress was on top of things and had great timing. Cheese curds were amazing albeit a tad greasy. I had the curd burger with spiced ketchup. Mrs Forkero has some kinda guacamole burger. Very nice. Both were perfectly cooked. In all, good pub grub.

the rustic thing might not be for everyone, but it’s definitely for me. kind of chill, great for a drink or a couple of beers, and the food comes out fast! always a plus for a burger bar to have yummy vegetarian options, and their veggie burger is delish. darts and pool upstairs, along with a small stage, lots of TVs which makes for a good sports hangout. for downtown minneapolis, i think the menu is incredibly reasonably priced. if you’re into superficial experiences, loud music, overstimulation, and bad servers, you will not like this place.

I give them two stars because they have awesome apps! However, every time I go to this restaurant(it’s across the street from my office), I’m so underwhelmed. The service is always so slow and I usually have to flag someone down to get them to come to our table. There’s also a pretty crabby bar tender that’s usually there during Happy Hour. If you go for lunch, expect to be there for a full hour. Speed is not their forte, and the food really isn’t good enough to keep coming back. Oh, and their soda is always flat. why can’t they figure that out?!

I had the fish tacos and chips and salsa. First off the server was awful. She didn’t check on us, the food took well over half an hour for me and my friend getting a grilled cheese, and hers didn’t come out until 10 minutes after. For a grilled cheese. Then the sides were wrong and tasted awful. I couldn’t eat the tacos so we got a box in case I was being picky about the taste, my mother spit it out. She’s eaten disgusting things but never spits things out. The server only checked back to hand us checks and then became nice all of a sudden when it comes to getting paid. There was no one else in the bar with the exception of a few at the bar just having drinks. The server thought talking to her coworkers was more important than her guests.

I am writing this review as I am Still at this service shit hole. And I liKE this place. Only reason why it’s getting 1 star is the service. SERVICESUCKS. don’t expect more than mediocre service. I keep coming back Because I really like the place but the service keeps on pushing me away. Waitress Es keep on shooing you away and not pay attention to your needs. As you go to the Bar they are talking on their phone. Food is great and the upstairs game room is fun. But then again SERVICESUCKS. so Be ready.

Oh man I hate being wrong. The boy told me that he wanted to watch the NCAA champs at home, and I insisted on getting out of the condo to watch it out — especially considering my coupon. Sweetest server ever. Not certain over 21, but super nice. There were a handful of times she forgot about us and was engulfed in a conversation with the bacardi girls, but she was legit the best part of the trip. The boy was annoyed as the NCAA championship game was on. Finally we got one of the channels right, however the sound was Eric Hutchinson tunes from 2005. I think more frustrating was that the whole staff seemed more engulfed with their underage drunken pals that showed up that the bar than following up on refreshing drinks. taking food orders, etc. Needless to say, I lost serious serious points for suggesting this«sports bar» for a basketball game. Painful since I thought I’d be winning. But hearing a «this is why I didn’t want to go here» from someone I think would truly love this place(they are the bar of his alma mater too!) warrants the reason to not come back. And… my nachos had unmelted cheese. Boo.

I had some time to kill before a nearby dinner reservation so I popped into Jackson’s Hole for a quick beer. The place is going for rustic — I get it. The wooden décor, mural of a mountain, wagon-wheel-like high-top tables, etc, all screams«rustic!» It’s fine, but maybe not really my cup of tea. I also have to say it was kind of offputting to come into the entryway and have it basically appear like it was under construction, with an unfinished paint job and a generally unfinished feel. You walk through a small little hallway and into the bar. It was happy hour so apparently that means all beers are $ 3. Great. Can’t beat the price. But sure wish they had a better selection. Those of you who know me know I love good beer, and I settled for a Blue Moon. That should tell you something. I took an empty table and waited for my hubby, who upon learning that I had selected a Blue Moon chose to bypass a drink altogether and wait for dinner. What can I say? We’re beer snobs. Anyway, the waitress in charge of our section came by twice — once when I sat down and once when my husband came. I could tell she was perturbed we were sitting there and not ordering food. I could understand if there were people waiting for a table, but the place was only half full. There was no one there but us wanting that table. She seemed especially ticked when she found out I’d gone to the bar to get a beer already, so no tip for her, even on a $ 3 happy hour beer. Sorry, but you could at least still be hospitable. Not the best attitude. Let’s just say that. In all, I downed my beer faster than I should have, regretted ordering it immediately and departed for our dinner date quickly. I can’t say anything about the food since I didn’t try it. But I am in no rush to do so. I am pretty sure we won’t be back.

A group of us went here for the first time last weekend on a whim… and we were truly pleasantly surprised! First off, for a Saturday night it wasn’t really that crowded. The crowd was pretty blue collar(i.e. friendly) with camo/blaze orange clad gentlemen, complimented perfectly by the pull tab machine and Lynard Skynard playing over the stereo. The bartenders provided decent service, but it took 3 plays of Free Bird to get my tab. The bar has a ski lodge theme to it, including leather chairs, sofas, and impressive rugs and tables. Thanks to the lack of a crowd we were able to land some super comfortable seating in a cozy corner of the bar. There are actually two levels with an upstairs bar as well as a shuffleboard table(pay to play). Evidently if the Vikings play the Packers they play the game on each level, the top floor for Packer fans and the first floor for Vikes fans. The tap beer selection was fairly impressive, but don’t forget about the large bottle selection behind the bar. Pricing was very fair compared to most downtown bars. We didn’t order any food, but saw that they have Friday Night Fish Frys(!!). As another Unilocaler put it… Jackson’s Hole is very comfortable. It reminds me of a small town bar placed right downtown. It is not a place I would go every weekend, but it is a great pick for a casual night out with friends or if you have the urge for pull tabs and shuffleboard.

This place is a hidden gem on first avenue. I had never heard of Jackson’s Hole until I was invited there for a birthday party. I checked out their menu online and read the Unilocal reviews and was like, «Why haven’t I heard of this place?» My mouth started watering when I was looking at their menu. When we got there some people had ordered a bunch of app’s for everyone to share, I had a few flavors of chicken wings(EXCELLENT!) and the chicken nachos. I wanted my own plate of goodness so we got a burger and wings to split. The burger was big and juicy. The fries were cooked perfectly. It’s making me hungry just writing about it now. The bar was nice, it wasn’t busy when we were there, which was a Saturday night Downtown, which was a little surprising, hence my hidden gem comment. The bar had a western theme but it wasn’t overdone in a cheesy cowboy way. We were upstairs and there was another bar up there so I’m assuming the place gets busy enough to open that up occasionally. I liked Jackson’s Hole, not sure if it’s a place I would actively try to go to, but if I was downtown and looking for a place to go, I would def suggest this place!

I used to hit up the Ugly Mug for Happy Hour quite often when it was open and was quite interested to see what Jackson’s Hole was all about. We had a coupon with made the prices even more afforable. The service was great, portions were large and the table had the most comfortable leather seats. P. S.HUGE bonus for me was the bun on the burgers– soft and homemade! We’ll be back again for sure!

Very comfortable. Asked for a recommendation on a local beer and ended up with a hefewisen that had a summer sausage after taste, which was a little weird. We didn’t stay for long, and didn’t finish our beer, but we’d probably be back.
