JB Anderson Inspections

We needed an inspection within 5 business days of our purchase agreement and Jeremiah was able to come the next day! We appreciate the availability and professionalism of the service we were provided. Friendly and helpful.
Update on my post: I haven’t received the mold test which I was charged $ 240 for. My inspection was done on June 7^th. I have emailed and contacted administrative staff for a response. I will update again if I hear back from Jeremiah. I am moving my rating from 5 to 2 until I do hear back and possibly receive a refund if they did not complete the mold test.

Had JB Anderson inspect my home before purchasing. Had a fair experience of them showing up on time and friendly, but their quality of inspection got me.
Within 52 hours of owning the house, the furnace went out. During the inspection, I asked the inspector about the furnace, and he said that it was old (which I knew), and then I should expect to replace the furnace with 2 – 3 years. I knew that the furnace could go out at any point, but what I didn’t learn until too late as that JB does NOT look within the furnace at all. They just look that the furnace is there and running. Come to find out, there was water damage in the furnace (control board, gas value, and other parts within the furnace), the furnace was clogged, and there was even a dead bird visible in the outtake.
Along with the furnace going out, I also found that the garage door they inspected was almost falling off the track and had to be fixed and they missed several electrical items that were wired incorrectly.
I would be very cautions about hiring JB. I’m not sure what I really paid them for since the level of inspection they go to sees that I could ask just about anyone to do, or I could have done myself.
Be careful of their «warranty»; it does not cover anything 10 years or older.
I also received poor customer service from JB once I paid and then had a problem. It was a month before they go back to me, and the responses I got were not very professional, blaming me and the company that help me get a new furnace quickly when it was 30 degrees out.
