Quoted $ 80/​hr 2hr minimum… Worked from 1220 – 1820 less half hour break total of 5.5 hours. Billed for $ 100/​hr plus $ 20/​hr due to move from a 3rd floor apt to a 3rd floor apt at 6.5 hours. They had the addresses at the time of the quote and never said anything about the additional $ 20/​hr… which I refused to pay. After arguing a bit they agreed to charge what they quoted me. I did pay the extra hour only because my dad raved about their service and he hadn’t tipped them. I’m not a moving expert but 5.5 hours seems like a long time to move a one bedroom apt with mostly only furniture and few boxes.
