KC Groves Tree Expert

They did a great job trimming our large elm and two maple trees. The crew also did a great job cleaning up. Their pricing is much more reasonable than Rainbow Trees (who we’ve used for other tree services). Going forward, we will using KC Groves for all tree services. Highly recommended!

KC Groves trimmed some branches that were dead and/​or misbalanced from our tree this spring. The estimate was less than half of another company’s quote (that I also found via Unilocal), and we got the estimate over a week sooner. It wasn’t a complicated job, but it looks great & the price was right.
One weird thing though — we had some miscommunication about the job. I don’t remember confirming yes/​no with him after he handed me the estimate; I asked when he could do it and said I’d let him know. I said it wasn’t an urgent job, and I was waiting for another quote. So we were quite surprised to come home 3 weeks later to a nicely trimmed tree (no mess)! I’m actually glad that he read my mind and did the job — I was meaning to call him — but it was pretty unusual!

I’m amazed there aren’t dozens of reviews for KC out here, because when I asked around the neighborhood (Fulton/​SW Mpls) for a tree guy, the response was a resounding «Call KC Groves!»
I hired KC to remove a small dying Elm tree and trim some branches off a giant Cottonwood. KC gave a great price and got it done within a few days. The guys who did the work were conscientious of my gardens and cleaned up every last branch and leaf when they were done. Thanks, KC, you’ll hear from me again!
