A couple of weeks ago, my friend and I were cruising around the shops at 50th and France. We found this little shoe store that is pretty cute, ladies. Not like we discovered it or something… it’s right there in plain sight for all the world to see. The merchandise is on the higher end(all quite stylish). I saw brands like Dolce Vita too though, and Dolce Vita is not awfully expensive. But then, of course, they have Ray-Bans(the kind that fold up!) and all these other accessories and shoes that I would like to own if I had more dollars. The person working was very chatty, in a good way. We felt quite welcome to browse around and pick up all the shoes(then put them down). I’d definitely stop back in next time I’m in the neighborhood. Tip: The parking garage behind this block is a nightmare on weekends. Avoid at all costs.

Definitely more of an accessories store than a clothing or shoe store. There was a single rack of very pricey clothes & a few pairs of shoes. Didn’t look like they were ready for spring/summer as it was mainly full of Minnetonka moccasins & closed-toe pumps. Worth popping in to check what’s in there, though.

Wow! I am surprised that the honor of first to Unilocal Ladyslipper is still available almost 2 years after it first opened! If you are an accessories lover… let me narrow this down for you… if you are a fine, beautiful, trendy, fabulous and gorgeous shoe, sunglasses or jewelry lover — get your well covered tootsies up to 50th and France and over to Ladyslipper. They carry the greatest lines… from the Aussie ‘Nude’ line to the über fabulous Bloch flats you can always find something at ladyslipper. Now its true, in grand Edina fashion Ladyslipper does carry some very high end(ie expensive) items however this past weekend I was browsing their sidewalk sale and walked away with a pair of gorgeous studded flats and was shocked and pleasantly surprised by the brown leather, equestrian inspired, over-the-knee brown boots. Ladies — hold your breath — because I walked away not only with a smile on my face after having a great chat with the saleswoman but with approximately $ 400 worth of shoes — which I paid $ 100 for. Long story longer — get up to Ladyslipper, see what its all about…
