Lisa Van Ahn rocks! I would strongly recommend her to anyone. I met Lisa a few years back and have remained loyal ever since. Why? Because she provides a fun, challenging workout that provides great results. She pushes you in a supportive way. I am busy and often work erratic hours, and I go through periods during which time my body is very vulnerable and stressed — during these times, she cuts me some slack, gives me modifications, and makes me feel great for just showing up. But, when I have no excuse, she gently reminds me… that I can do better. She pushes me in a way that I respond to, and I always leave feeling better about myself. She gives off an amazing energy that it takes very little time to pick up on. She has a variety of workout options, including her 45 minute boot camp style workout, a kickboxing class that is glove and pad style, an inspirational intensati class(free on Saturdays), and her summer boot camp intensives located throughout the Minneapolis park system. All are great and worth a try!

I would totally recommend trying out the bootcamp. I signed up for the 2 week session this summer and I got such quick results! It did kick my butt, but in a good way. Lisa is a wonderful instructor and motivates you push yourself but is also laid back. I’m currently doing the fall session of bootcamp twice a week and if you are interested in getting in shape with this fun group atmosphere I would highly recommend it. You will sweat. I also love it because there are all types of people who are in the class and all levels are welcome. It is an early morning class so it’s great to have your workout all done by 7am!
