Michaelson Auto Repair

This review is solely for the Uhaul service. I needed a truck quick and Michaelson’s is not far from my house. I made a reservation online the night before and stopped in the next morning to pick it up. There is street parking to leave a vehicle and it’s not hard to find off 34^th ave. Tiny little place, he specializes in small engine repair and there isn’t a whole lot to the building. I was in and out pretty quick, dropped the truck off after and used the key drop which was super convenient. There were no hidden charges and no surprises when I got my bill. Nothing special here, just A-​OK.

If it were possible to give no stars I would. We reserved a U-​Haul for 9 am but when we got there to pick it up the employee was standing out in the parking lot on a personal call. After waiting for about 15 minutes we finally asked if we could pick up our reservation and he cussed us out and said that he would no longer rent the truck to us. All because we asked if we could pick up the truck when we had a guaranteed pickup time and had to be across town to deliver something? Should have known something was up when no one would ever answer the phone and we finally had to go by the office just to book the reservation. I can’t vouch for their auto repair service but with this sort of customer service I wouldn’t recommend them to my worse enemy.
