I only take classes in kettlebell yoga here, but have also been able to witness a few karate classes, as well. As a newcomer, I’ve found the instructors here to be incredibly friendly and supportive. Classes are somewhat small, which allows for more personalized attention and calibration to the attendants’ needs. It’s never intimidating, but you feel motivated to do your best, which for a fitness rookie like me, is the perfect attitude to experience from your dojo/yoga studio.

The instructors are very knowledgeable about have taught karate, yoga, and core strength training for years even going as far as developing their own kettle bell/yoga training program. Classes are tailored to fit participants of varying levels of experience and ability so that nobody feels overwhelmed or unchallenged. I’ve been doing karate for a number of years at various schools, and this is been the best so far. Classes focus on the core skills as well as practical application and real-world self-defense. It’s off the beaten path, but well worth checking out if you’re interested in developing skills or improving your health.
