I stumbled on this place online while looking for a place to get gift baskets for clients at work. I live and work in Burnsville and it takes me about 25 minutes to get here but I will gladly do it because the product is exceptional, the variety is plentiful and the people there are always happy to help. Very glad I stumbled upon this inconspicuous little nut roasting shop!

I live in NE minneapolis and drove past this place a hundred times and did not even know it was there or what they sold. Then a friend or client told me to go and check it out and that they sell to the public. Glad they did. If you have never checked this place out you are missing a hidden gem. You can barely see it from the road and there is a tiny little area for the public to make purchases. The products here are awesome, awesome and more awesome. they roast their own nuts of all kinds. You can smell it when you get out of your car. They make their own chocolate covered raisins which are the best I have ever tasted and cheap! Any time I get them it is nearly impossible to stop eating them so beware. the nuts they roast are awesome! they have so many varieties of nuts and chocolate covered nuts and other assorted candies that it is very difficult to choose. And they make it all there so it is always fresh.
I own a fitness center in Minneapolis and every year we give a bag of almonds to our customers at christmas time. Northern nut puts custom labels on them and the clients get excited knowing they are getting them. A lot of other businesses are in buying gifts for their employees or holiday parties so it is much busier then. Other times you can basically walk in and get what you want and be on your way in minutes. It is not always easy for me to get here though because they are only open during their normal business hours which is the same hours most of us work. So whenever I happen to be not working and in that area I make it a special point to stop in.
I highly recommend that if you can get over there absolutely do it. Their prices are great and again the quality of the products are amazing. Great to pick up the nuts or candied products as gifts or for yourself.
One last thing… the products there are GREAT! You have to go there adn check it out!
