I had a horrible experience with this company and it was also the ending of my service with Verizon thanks to this horrible business owner. Absolutely the worst, definitely do not get their insurance if you and unfortunate to have to deal with this scam business.

Never ever enter this store! The owner is a crook & a thief. I was overcharged about $ 150 for the iPhone accessories. When I returned the phone & accessories the next day, they assured me, that I’ll get the full refund. Today is more than month and a half since then, and refund still isn’t issued to my credit card. I’ve started investigation. The owner of this store owns another 20 stores like this in the Twin Cities. I could only imagine how many customers he took advantage off! They deserve one star negative, if even that! IMHO, this & other stores, owned by this guy, should be closed, and he has to be brought to investigation!

No seriously, their customer service is terrible. «Inept» would be a compliment. In my latest interaction I had the following occur: The manager nearly reneged on my insurance plan because he couldn’t correctly read an iPhone serial number(let me repeat: the MANAGER of the mobile phone store couldn’t read an iPhone serial number), the manager gave me the wrong number to call in order to activate the new phone, when I found the correct number and called it to activate the new phone the employee told me to call back later because he was with a customer. I would like to tell you the service is better in person, but I don’t want to lie to you. Drive the extra distance to go to a real Verizon store. These guys aren’t worth your time or business.

I went to verizon after I lost my contract phone. This was the biggest fraud operation ever by the manager. There’s a bald white guy who runs the store, I think his name is chris, all he does is sit and watch fantasy football on his precious little smartphone and laptop. He convinced my to buy a really terrible samsung smartphone at retail price, and told me that there was NO return policy for retail phones. On their receipt it states clearly that there is a return policy of 14 days, so did verizon who confirmed. I purchased it out of desperation, and then realized that I couldn’t use it anymore because it was a ridiculously stupid phone and would freeze up for no reason. I thankfully happened to return it when a different employee was present at the store, expecting fully well that the chris guy wouldn’t accept it. I saved 338 $ just by a miracle that’s all I can say. I called back to try and confirm the refund receipt, and the guy was totally rude and arrogant, saying that he could make up whatever contract he wanted verbally, and any agreement on their receipts need not apply. I find this ridiculous and if they owner happens to read this, I hope this guy is promptly fired or disciplined. It is appalling that this place is still in business with the fraud show that they’re running. As an immigrant, I expected better from this place, and I’m sure he is taking advantage of a lot of unassuming international students by selling them defective phones and denying them returns. I agree fully with Nicole D’s review as well. Whatever response the store has, why would more than 1 customer have negative things to say about them? i’m sure there are other unheard voices. Besides, if they sold phones that actually worked like they should, why should they be afraid of taking them back? It is a customers discretion to return a defective phone, and no business should deny them their right to do so. And don’t bother getting any help from the website or the corporate office, they direct you to an email address on their website, or the Unilocal page, which is why I’m here. Avoid this store and the manager like the plague!

The customer service here is so bad, they dont even deserve one star. My son purchased a phone under his upgrade, but since they didnt have any demos to «play» with before purchasing, he made his purchase based on research alone. He didn’t like the phone, so he went back one week later and exchanged it for something different. He asked the sales person directly if he would be able to exchange or return again(and pay another $ 35 restocking fee — which he was fine with) — and he was told yes. Again, he decided to exchange, because he was told he could. We went back, and the salesperson we worked with said«sorry, I’m new, my manager said you couldnt actually exchange again. I didn’t know». So — becuase«your new and didnt know», we’re stuck with A) a phone he doesnt like, and B) a renewed two year contract? We have 4 phone lines(adding another in December), adding an iPad with 3G in September, and have a mobile hot spot account, as well as a 10 year history with Verizon. Upon informing the sales person of this, she went to the back to call her manager, Chris. She came out, clearly holding back her tears, informing us that there was nothing he was willing to do, and that we could leave our number, but he would NOT be calling us back. As a small business owner, I am appaled. None of us have ever had a positive experience with the manager here, even when buying a simple protective case. Needless to say, this was the last time we will be giving him our business. Too bad for him — we have three upgrades to process when the new iPhone 5 comes out next month, an iPad to buy, and a new phone line to add, all in the next couple of months! Then I sat on the phone with Verizon customer service for hours, only to hear that the only thing we we could do is esclate the issue with the store’s DM. Well, the store won’t give the DM’s information to us OR Verizon. So, apparently«Independently owned» Verizon stores aren’t held to the same rules as the Verizon owned stores. Bad move, Verizon. Taking all of my lines elsewhere.
