It’s an average hobby games store that specializes in Magic: the Gathering. It has tons of Magic sealed product. It has a small assortment of board games that are appropriately priced. The older Magic boosters and sealed product are high but not outrageous. They do have a rather large amount of older lands for sale for inexpensive prices. They have the cards, they’re just a small shop, so expect the pricing as such. The main draw to this place is teenagers, or rather, tweens. Kids come here all the time to fine tune CCG/TCG/LCG decks. They also play video games, which have an hourly rate. I’ve seen a lot of parents drop off kids here. It’s just safer than an arcade these days. For that, it’s absolutely great. If you’re 11 – 15, your options aren’t that great. This place will accommodate you nicely. Their Magic bulk bin has been picked over pretty hard and the condition of the cards is rough at best. I’d probably go elsewhere if you want to find that last common to make a playset in a standard deck. I think it smells odd, due to the ventilation and the lack of windows, but it’s a haven for those that desire it. Just a word of warning, cell phones do not work that well inside the building. Jump on the wifi immediately when entering. Parking can be a beast if you want to buy a board game on the weekend due to Magic tournaments and well, street parking in a neighborhood. Nearby are some sit down places to eat.

Hunted this place down looking for Magic The Gathering Cards when I was on vacationing to the Twin Cities. They had a interesting but small selection of vintage magic cards including some more collectible but less playable Alpha /Beta cards. Unfortunately their card pricing was off the wall too high. The store also has some large TVs and game systems in which they rent out time that seemed very popular. I think they cater to mostly a local crowd and have no real reason to keep competitive prices. If your from out of town you can skip this card shop.
