Based on a single visit, but I was very impressed with clothing styles, quality and prices(went during a big sale). Both me and the wife found a lot we liked. Worth finding just a bit off the beaten path in the Uptown shopping district. Just a tiny notch below Martin Patrick for men’s styles, but we paid great prices.

OBSESSED. Seriously the coolest store I’ve ever been in. The interior design and fashion fusion is such a cool concept. Motto is a fun space to get lost in and find goodies. The owners, Maryn and Maria, are amazing. They’re so helpful and genuinely want to provide a great experience for their customers. It seriously feels like home when you’re in the shop! The merch is adorbs and a little out of my price range, but I’ve found some great pieces in their awesome sales section. Motto is a store where you know you’ll probably be one of a few people rocking it, so no worries on being duplicated! Highly recommend stopping in when you’re shopping in Uptown. A gem of a store!

Upon a recommendation, I wandered into this store. While I liked some of the women’s clothes, ultimately nothing really fit too well. However, I brought my husband back here and he managed to find a couple shirts he liked and got an incredible deal on a couple pair of jeans. Cute household goods as well. The entire time I was in the store I felt like I was in a NYC boutique, which is awesome. I’m sure I’ll be back to browse for myself, and my husband will be back for sure to grab a few unique shirts for work!

If you happen to wander a bit South of the CB2 in Calhoun Square you were stumble upon Motto, and be glad that you did. This hidden gem is a gift shop, clothing store, and home store combined in the beaitful space of an old home. The owners were super welcoming. I cannot put my finger on what store it reminds me of, perhaps a more local and less commercial anthropology. With the gifts like honeyshine and clothing is a hodgepodge of higher end designers and pretty amazing loungeclothes, I feel like it would be tough to come out of this place empty handed.

The former Intoto space has a new tenant, Motto! If you’re wondering where, it’s that white building that says«Get Dressed» on top of it, kitty-corner from Lucia’s. This place taunts me with things like but I can’t really afford. It’s a bit like its predecessor in that way(thought possibly more brutal for me mentally). One of the owners greeted me warmly coming in and then let me pet her sleepy dog for a while… turns out he is not for sale. The first floor is full of chic home décor and gifts, plus some equally chic lotions and bath products. I ogled some gorgeous druzy and gold rings on the main floor too, which were all more than $ 100 and therefore not in the cards for me that day. Their entire jewelry selection is beautiful. Upstairs is stocked with women’s and menswear. Again, nothing much is under $ 100 up there either, but the good taste in merchandise is obvious. And this is a weird thing to note, but the dressing rooms are lovely. I’ll definitely be back for browsing again, but I know I’ll have a hard time parting with any Benjamins here after seeing the price tags.
