We loved working with Paul! Our whole wedding planning process was kind of a whirlwind trying to plan from a different state, but he made it so easy! He met with us two weeks before the wedding and assured us that everything would go smoothly on the day of… and it definitely did! He listened to our requests and then knew how to kept the party flowing with great music. Our guests had a blast and stayed until the very end. It was so much fun. I would highly recommend Nora Events to anyone looking for a QUALITY professional. He is a great guy and we were more than happy to have him at our reception.

«EIGHTMORESONGS! EIGHTMORESONGS!» — about 150 people chanting from the dance floor after DJ Sticky announced the last song at my wedding When planning our big fat Indian-Persian-Filipino-American wedding, my now-husband and I sat down and made a list of the things that were important to us(epic dance party, food, vows, etc.) and the things that weren’t(place settings, favors, chair covers, etc.). DJ Sticky(i.e. Paul) is so, so awesome. He’s beyond professional and totally deserves all the industry awards he’s always winning. He was also the only person I would’ve fully trusted to be the ringleader of our epic dance party(as well as our outdoor ceremony). Good DJs are rare birds, so we saved money in those areas that weren’t that important to us so we could invest in the best. Nora Events isn’t necessarily cheap, but between the ceremony and the reception, Paul was working the entire day, absolutely killing it. By the end of the night it felt like we’d gotten the best deal of our lives. The planning process was easy(he uses a lot of online tools, which I love). I went a little overboard with the pre-event song workbook and chose, like, 245984152 hours of music. I was really specific about what I didn’t want played too. I had SO much classic rock and lame wedding songs on that«do not play» list, and it was glorious(I highly recommend making a don’t play list with any DJ, actually). Anyway, Sticky managed to pull the best from my ridiculously long playlist and throw in plenty of surprises too. And best of all, he was really in tune with what the crowd wanted. In our case, that meant that the(very) few slow songs played were Motown, and everything from Iranian pop to European house music was fair game. And a lot of Ke$ha. Almost a year later and we still get compliments about how great the reception was(and how great my moves were, obviously). And since we don’t have another wedding to plan, my husband and I are considering putting Paul on retainer for New Year’s Eve dance parties from 2017 until one of us dies.
