This is the most miserable place I have eaten at in years. The dining room is filthy, everything is sticky and it looks like the owners live there. I can only imagine the horrors that exist in the kitchen. The Mongolian BBQ was atrocious, I took one bite and spit it out. The cashier you meet when you walk in looks genuinely annoyed by having to deal with customers. I ate a total of about three bites of food and walked out. Before I left I told the cashier that this is the worst Chinese buffet I had ever eaten at and she didn’t care one bit. If I could give this place a lower rating I would. The sad part is that this used to be a nice place. I’m guessing it must have new owners. I expect the health department to shut this place down soon.

Was craving crappy Asian food and a variety. Came here and got my fix. I loved the walnut shrimp, my favorite! So happy they had it. It was pretty busy on a Sunday night. I’m sad that my pop was a-little flat, but hey. It’s a buffet in Brooklyn park.

buffet price not posted/listed anywhere, had to ask the extremely grumpy, non smiling person at the counter. charge extra for crab legs or excess food, according to sign

I was here many years ago and it used to be much better. Again, I hate getting a lump of fat in my food, but that is what I found in the Teriyaki chicken. I avoided getting any chicken entrees after that, and ate fish and shrimp and plantain to fill up.

Ouch this probably is the worst Chinese buffet I have been to in my life. Most of the meats are suspect of being on the border of rancid. I looked at the Mongolian grill option and passed because the beef was brown and I don’t mean after it was cooked! The fruit served actually looked good but didn’t try because I might be pushing my luck. If I get sick I won’t be surprised. I think I tried this place a few years ago and the quality seemed much better.

Buffet with many non-traditional Oriental food options. Lots of seafood dishes. Honey Chicken was great. Could have more veggie dishes. Value priced. Décor is vaguely Asian.

This place used to be the best Chinese buffet in the area back in the 90’s, but now the quality is way down and it’s nowhere near where it used to be. It’s just their kitchen is not as tidy as it used to be and their dishes kinda went down with it.

Surprise it’s still open. Went there with a few friends. Food went in. Didn’t want to go out. C1 on shingle creek is a great alternative.

I usually do to-go’s at this place. It’s not that great, which is probably why it’s always empty. The staff never smile and don’t seem so friendly. The food isn’t that great. There are only a few items that are alright. They added sushi and that is the WORST part about the buffet itself. Don’t expect any meat or fish in the sushi. It shouldn’t even be called sushi. Yes it looks like sushi, but it’s all a bunch of bell peppers and cream cheese. Lucky if you even get crab sticks in there. And I wonder, DOTHEYEVENTASTE their sushi? Some of it is TERRIBLE. The sushi space does not look so sanitized and clean as well. I would say skip this and go to another buffet. There are a few more better buffets just a couple miles away in Brooklyn Center. Definitely take the extra mile and go over there. This place is no good.

Not a safe place to eat, I got sick. Roll the dice if you want but I will never come back to this place.

My roommate offered to buy me lunch here yesterday. The foods I ate were okay at best. The fried rice in particular didn’t taste all that fresh. One bizarre thing that happened was when the man behind the Mongolian Grill told me a couple times to «eat fast.» What in the world did he mean by that? The place wasn’t crowded at all.

Very good Hot and Sour Soup, I had three bowls of it. Their sushi is also very good and fresh, very friendly staff.

Hard to rate fast food style Chinese. If I was to compare it to some of its neighbors, like Leeann Chins I would give it another star. Really just for the fact it doesn’t taste like you’re licking a block of salt it deserves a star over LAC! That said, this place does have a pretty good selection of items to choose from. Price is pretty good and for what you’re paying the flavors are good. I had the walnut shrimp and it was OK. Not a date night sort of a place by any means but if I’m just trying to have a quick lunch and skip all the bread, salt and grease for the day this isn’t too bad of a choice! KT

I don’t know what the problem is with some of the staff at this location, they seem piss all the time. The food is, well it taste just like any Chinese buffet. I wouldn’t recommend this place because when it gets busy the staff start giving people attitude.

THEGOOD: Easy to find, plenty of parking in front, next to Cubs &TJ Maxx, spacious and clean inside, nice food & fruits selections, inexpensive(8 bucks for 1 lunch buffet with drinks included). THEBAD: FOOD! Blah, bland, meh & eh! I rarely write reviews for Chinese buffet places because I don’t normally expect anything much except for average tasting food at the most. But OMG! The food here was terrible. I’ve never tasted overly salty kimchi, super bland hot & sour soup, incredibly sweet general tao’s chicken, and flavorless schezuan pork like I just had here. One good thing for me was the fruit that they offered. They had fresh pineapples, fresh oranges, fresh cantaloupe & honey dew, canned peach, banana, canned tangerine, and most importantly, canned lychee. If I knew the food would taste that bad, I could have just eaten the canned lychee, oranges and pineapples to get my money worth. THEWORST: Sick feeling afterwards. I had to rush home after I was done eating to puke!(Sorry if I made it sounds so gross but it was true!) THEVERDICT: Never ever coming back

I’ve been there once, and I won’t be back. The beef and chicken dishes had the same, gelatinous consistency. The orange chicken should be labeled ‘orange batter’ and even the egg rolls were sub-par. The regular chicken wings and the soup were acceptable, as well as the fried rice.

I’ve been going to this buffet for years, although I’ve never actually stayed and dined there. The whole concept of to-go buffet is both hard for others to understand and a godsend once they do.(«What? You take it with you? Isn’t that against the rules?») The quality at PG has gone downhill over the past couple of months, but the selection is decent. If you don’t mind going the distance, the C-1 buffet in Brooklyn Center(across the street from the Brookdale library) has a much better selection, food that’s easier to digest, and a cashier who doesn’t creep people out. The cashier at Panda Garden is one of the strangest human beings I’ve ever met. She’s extremely slow and almost robotic in her movements. She’s never said two words to me. I’ve even asked to buy soda from the fridge behind her and she ignores me every time. It’s a losing battle. But when I was working down the road and my average lunch cost less than $ 4, it seemed like a minor quibble. Go for the passable, cheap food; leave as soon as humanly possible.

Fairly good as far as buffets in the Twin Cities. Used to be better. You’d be hard pressed to find a better cream cheese puff or «chicken-on-a-stick» though. Plus the same lady has been running it for over ten years. She remembers me everytime I come in. Now that’s service, albeit with an accent I can’t understand!
