Man, I used to LOVE this place. Back in the day, before the smoking ban, my friends and I used to crash here ALLDAY, getting caffeinated and nicotined up. We’d buy a pack of Marlboro Reds from the SA across the street and chill out for hours at a time. Playing cards, people watching, bs-ing… I actually met two ex-boyfriends, as well as my ex-husband here. I’ll be honest – as many fond memories I have of this place with friends, I was happy to see the end of the era.

Do not be fooled by the«cool» fact that this place is also a house. It sucks. Really. Lame overpriced menu. Slow incompetent service. Poor cobbler to fruit ratio. Weakest appetizers ever. Oh, Jimmy Deans rolled in rosemary and a few water crackers from Cub Foods? $ 9. Oh yeah, get this: they charged us $ 4 for bread, $ 2 for oil, $ 2 for butter!!! Had no idea that was coming until we got the bill! The place is a complete joke. Total posers. Lame.

I belive this has closed down and has now been replaced by a resturant called the duplex. It was an amusing place while it existed.

I feel weird reviewing Pandora’s —– I keep having flashbacks to high school. Pandora’s gets 4 stars for its awesome location, always interesting staff, outdoor deck, having good food besides the drinks, and being in a 2 story house. The crowd has always been high school to 20something edgy-artsy, with maybe some pretentious artsy and yuppie mixed in. Then again, I’m from the suburbs — hell if I know.
