Pizza Hut

Placed an order online. Was told I would be receiving my pizza within a hour. Was then called back and told that I live in an area they don’t deliver to after 7PM. So why was card charged? Why was I allowed to place an order? What a joke.

I ordered from this location 3 times. One of the times, they even got the order right. Avoid, unless you like surprises.

This (and by This I mean all Pizza Huts; nothing specific about this particular location) is one of the few places that has gotten the Never Again designation from me. Here’s why:
1. Well, for starters, it’s terrible. Fine, while you’re actually shoveling it into your mouth it might be ok but as soon as you finish and concentrate on something else it becomes a slow-​motion-​punch-​to-​the-​gut, with the fist soaked in grease. Seriously, I can guarantee you that no one has ever thought «Now THAT was an excellent idea!» while they close an empty Pizza Hut box.
2. One time on tour we found a website where you could enter a code and print out a coupon for a free Pizza Hut pizza. We made 50 photo copies of this coupon and basically ate nothing but Pizza Hut for days. This was one of the less-​awesome decisions I made that month. The experience left me having experienced about fourteen lifetime’s worth of Pizza Hut consumption.
3. A former coworker of mine mentioned that his wife used to work at Pizza Hut one time, and remarked that «She said they would put an entire cup of oil in the bottom of each pizza. Like, that… that’s a lot of oil. And it wasn’t good oil either.» Hearing this made me instantly shudder… I mean, I KNEW that Pizza Hut was greasy/​oily crap, but I hadn’t actually *thought* about it.
The bottom line is that Pizza Hut is one of the few places that I will never, ever eat at again. And I would recommend that you follow my lead. I realize writing a review of Pizza Hut on a food site is kind of like going to a film discussion group and yelling «Hey everyone, I don’t know if you’ve heard about this Transformers movie but it’s not so good!!!», however… just in case, I figured I’d throw my two cents in.

This store is a DelCo… Delivery, Carryout only. If you like pizza or pasta and live in North Minneapolis, this is your best choice. This Pizza Hut is like all the others, except the People who work there are behind 1.5 inches of bullet resistant glass.
