I needed a van in a pinch, and was recommended Premier Auto. This place isn’t an overly professional/clean/efficient operation. It is clear that their primary market is low-income people who just need something that runs for very cheap. It’s not in the best neighborhood, their office hasn’t been redecorated since the early 80’s, and there’s a dog in the reception area(as well as a permanent ashtray). The people there are nice, and the phone was ringing frequently(and answered while I was being helped, which was annoying). The van we rented was about 10 years old and I needed to Febreeze it to get rid of a minor smell. It worked fine but it wasn’t pretty. To summarize, if you’re looking for a smooth, professional, clean experience renting a vehicle, look elsewhere. If you’re looking for a bottom-of-the-barrel vehicle in a pinch, this may be the place to go. btw — all vehicles are for rent AND sale. I found it interesting that cars are sold«as-is» and for cash only.
