Rapids Liquor

While perusing Unilocal recently, I saw a review for Rapids Liquor that mentioned they had a good craft beer selection. This of course intrigued me but what really interested me about this place was that it is about 2 minutes from where I’m now living with the fiancé. Since the options for good beer up this way are quite limited, I decided I needed to check this place out.
I stopped in on a Friday on my way home from work and it took me no time to find their Beer Cave, the section at the back of the store where they have all their craft beers (though they do also have a decent selection of craft brews in their cooler as well). While browsing their excellent selection, their beer manager Chris came over and introduced himself. He was quite enthusiastic about the beer selection he’d built up, and rightly so. We chatted for a bit and he showed me all their recent additions to their beer line up. It was quite clear that when it comes to craft beer he knows what he’s talking about. It’s worth noting that in addition to their craft beer selection they have quite a nice selection of ciders which should make the fiancé quite happy with her gluten free ways.
I have to say that I’m quite impressed with this place. Rapids Liquor is going to be my go to location beer for as long as I’m living in the CR.
