Ridder Arena

Maybe it’s me but I find it relatively difficult to find affordable live entertainment (beyond high school activities) for my family of four. University of Minnesota women’s hockey fulfill that bill and is such a treat because it is so affordable and entertaining to watch!
Their arena is just the right size where there is not a bad seat in the house. General admission is only $ 8! With parking ($ 8) your family can go and be entertained for roughly 3 – 4 hours for only $ 40! That’s cheaper than the matinée! If you go early, you can pick the best seats in the general admission section.
Best parking for the event (when there is no snow or ice) is on the north side where it is only 50 feet from the north exit to the arena.

A great ice arena and facility next to Mariucci Arena on the Universit of MInnesota-​Twin Cities campus. It’s a great venue to hold tournaments in and rent out if you are ever looking to have a skating parting or an intramural tournament.
