Saucy Burt’s slings the best meatball sandwich I’ve had in the Twin Cities. The sauce is spectacular – the premium tomatoes Saucy uses have exactly the right sweetness and acidity to complement the powerhouse combo of beef, pork and veal she uses in her meatballs.
Not sure if she’s ever open late, but this would make the perfect after-​bar snack.

This woman can make a good meatball!!! I am glad to see Saucy Burt’s is now up Mall now since it will be easier to get to her from my office. I had the chicken cacciatore meatball and it was so good. The sauce is fresh and you can tell it is not from a can or jar.
Saucy Burt’s could revival a South Philly mama and earn respect for the gravy :-)

You just can’t beat a well made meatball and Saucy Burt’s delivers that and more. The sauce is very complimentary without being overpowering. And the great customer service from a woman who loves what she does is an added benefit. I’m planning on being a regular.
