I needed a place for the month of April to store my stuff. After calling around I found the Storage Business is pretty competitive and the different companies will often match competitors pricing to earn your business. I wanted to be in this area because of the proximity to my next residence, I explained the lower rates being offered by competitors and the Manager(Ray) let me know about the first month discount and that I could check one out before deciding. This building is open 6am-10pm, which is longer than most and has secured entry with a code, easy in and easy out. If you don’t rent storage units very often then you might not realize the somewhat confusing rental agreements in regards to vacate notices, rent due, etc. I was moving out 5⁄1 and called about a week prior to confirm my plans, I spoke with a fill in employee since Ray was on vacation. At the time I asked if I needed to do anything else and was told no, basically come in and talk to the Manager. I wasn’t sure if I would need a smaller unit or the existing unit for an extra day. Ray was extremely understanding after I explained my story even though it was technically my fault, I failed to provide 10 day«Written Notice» and my rent should have been prorated for one day. If going by the rules I could have gotten nailed on the notice and the prorated amount. Luckily he was very nice and has experienced this with other tenants, rather than ruin my day he didn’t charge me and let me know I could move to another unit if needed. I would highly recommend storing at this facility and I will return if I need to store anything in the future. Thanks Ray!
