I signed up for a new member month and definitely got my use out of the membership. I am now OBSESSED with the reformer. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I learned so much and can’t wait to continue practicing Pilates!

Six Degrees is a great studio with an amazing customer service, personalized approach and variety of classes. It caught my interest as not many gyms around offer pilates reformer workouts. I have started first with intro week promotion and was amazed how every teacher tries to get to know you and help you work on your posture and really look out after every your move. It has been couple times when there are only couple people and it becomes a private lesson. I have taken barre, asana stretch, reformer and chair classes there. All of them are focused on core and stretching. Asana is definitely new kid on the block. For an hour you meditate and instructor helps you stretch while you are listening to relaxing music and enjoying the candle lights. The chair workout is hard… Yes, it is just a box but because you can put different strings and perform different movements. It is not easy as you think at first.

I’m thoroughly obsessed with this studio. As someone who likes physical activity but typically hates gyms and classes, I couldn’t believe how quickly I fell in love with this place. It’s super clean, cozy, and inviting, without being the least bit pretentious or snooty. The instructors are friendly and welcoming, always ask about injuries, always offer modifications, and really make classes accessible to a variety of abilities, body types, ages, and levels. And as a bonus, the studio doesn’t have any mirrors, so you can just focus on your movements instead of watching yourself or others. I mostly go for the barre classes, which are challenging but fun, and definitely effective — I can see a difference in my strength, endurance, and even the way my clothes fit just from going a couple times a week for the past month!

Fantastic studio!!! I’ve been going for three weeks but I think it will take months for me to try all the classes. New student week and month are a great deal without having to sign a tricky contract or do auto pay. AWESOME variety of classes at lots of times throughout the day, every day– super convenient. Every instructor I’ve had has been great and very welcoming. Beautiful facilities with a nice, laid back vibe. Classes are challenging but fun and use lots of creative movements and props, which I really appreciate. If I’m paying for a class, I don’t want to be doing crunches and bicycles for 20 minutes. I can do that at home.

I am definitely a fan of this place, as I really enjoyed the barre workout and the instructor was very energetic and bubbly. However, my only complaint is that this was my first class and the instructor never let us know what equipment we needed to grab so I just grabbed what the other students were getting. Also, it was very hard to see the instructor most of the time so I was left not having a clue what we were doing — again I just watched others to try and figure out what to do. The instructor also used some jargon that if you are not familiar with ballet, pilates, and yoga you would have no clue what to do.
Take home message is this is your first time there you will learn more by watching other students than you will by trying to watch and listen to the instructor. Great work out and a lot of fun!
