My only key that I got when I bought my Jeep went bad; it lost it’s program. The key was acting up and I bought 2 new ones before my factory key quit working, but hadn’t had a chance to go to the dealership to get them cut and programmed before my original key went totally bad. The first place I called were total jerks and wouldn’t even touch the blank keys I bought saying they couldn’t make enough money. Stellar was not only happy to cut and program the keys I bought, they were at my house in a matter of a couple of hours. They not only got my new keys cut and programmed, they also got my old key working as well. The guy that came out, Alex, was courteous and was great to work with. I would highly recommend Stellar Keys and Remotes and wouldn’t hesitate to call them again if I ever needed more locksmith work done. A+!

Incredibly unreliable and unprofessional company. The most frustrating experience I have had with a company in a long long time. Promises made and broken too many times to count. We’ll call you right back in 5 minutes actually means we won’t call you back… ever. We have the fobs you need and I’ll be there tomorrow at 3pm actually means we don’t know if we really have the fobs but will check tomorrow(saturday) when it’s too late to do anything about it when we discover we don’t have the fobs and then won’t call you to tell you we don’t have them, but will make you call 20+ times to try to reach us. I’ve written your number and everything we’ve discussed down and will call you before 11am tomorrow to confirm what time I will be there to do your fobs actually means I will forget to call, lose the notes I wrote down, and never call or come to replace your fobs and then let you call our multiple phone numbers dozens of times to see if you can track us down so we can tell you we can no longer do your job. I wish I could say I’m exaggerating or dramatizing a little with this. I’m not. And amazingly, all of the above occurred across 3 different people trying to get my fobs replaced on two separate occasions. Simply the worst customer service and reliability I have ever experienced with any company providing any service ever. Do not walk, run from this company. Sorry Stellar but you guys earned this one.

Great customer service and great prices. Never disappointed. I really trust them and I recommend them all the time to my friends and family. You never know when you’ll need a locksmith!

I tried to call the phone number after emailing back and forth with the owner. The number for the North location 763−576−0000 said the number was no longer good and gave me some random number 612−418−2803. I the called the South number 612−338−9999 aand explain to the gentleman what I was trying to do and that I have been in contact with the email on the website. The tech got very rude and said he had no idea what the«owner» said in an email and was rude. Instead of indulging his rudeness I just said«I’ll try someone else». Just very very poor customer service and I would not recommend them to anyone!

Bought a key and clicker combination from these folks which cost around $ 200. Lasted about three months then the key broke off from the clicker while starting the car. This was a backup clicker so had been used a total of probably 20 times. When we called the man asked us to email pictures of the broken key and an explanation. My wife was told they normally don’t warranty anything that has been used that long. My wife explained again that we only had it for three months. They told us it would be $ 60 to fix or replace if they had to come to us or $ 40 if we came to them. $ 200 for a key, and then more cost to replace after 3 or 4 months, come on? I don’t like businesses who don’t stand behind the products they sell and I won’t go back.

First call I got hung up on, you could tell he was bumbling with the phone. Second call I was told there was a $ 15 surcharge for credit cards. Thank god this wasn’t a lock out situation. I said: «Wait, what? Did you say $ 15 surcharge for credit cards?» and he said no, it’s… I think he thought I said $ 50. Either way, sounds like whoever I talked to was trying to pocket cash without reporting it to his boss or something. Would never EVER call these folks again. I’d recommend you don’t either if you’re locked out.
