Saw him once, won’t see him again. Did x-rays before seeing/examining me. Turned out they weren’t necessary and he never even mentioned that he looked at them. Other than check in, no one asked me what my name or date of birth was. I am a nurse and would never talk to a patient without making sure who I was talking to. He had a scribe with him and didn’t even acknowledge her. Unprofessional in my opinion.

I had a surgery with Dr. Vorlicky, and I have to say, the overall feeling that I got from him was that he really wished he didn’t have to deal with patients. It felt like he was just doing a job to get a(big) paycheck. Everything possible was pushed off to assistants. On the day of my surgery I asked him to explain what he was going to do, and he stared at me for several seconds, with a look that said to me «I can’t believe you are asking this, it’s not worth my time to have to explain it to you…». The jury is still out on how well he did the surgery — my injury feels about the same as it did before the procedure, although perhaps with time it will be better.

I thankfully went to Dr Vorlicky only once. I felt he had no empathy, he was lost with my medical condition and was full of himself. The kind of person who really should not be a physician dealing with patients. Dr Vorlicky had a difficult time with using his computer and barked at his assistant several times to «help» him. I feel there is something really wrong with a doctor who can not open a(local) x-ray via computer but does surgery on patients. Scary thought.
