To support my eating habit, I try to work out and walk 10,000 steps a day or about 5 miles. Ever since I have been walking this much, I feel good. however, my knees weren’t. They hurt so bad, especially my left one. Looking for a better pair of shoes, I came across a review of shoes called«Abeo» that I have never heard of. However, this brand was rated very high, and was recommended to reduce knee stress. Once I saw the knee stress mentioned and that these Abeo Smart System can alleviate it, I was sold. I guess some very smart scientists at Standford University came up with this design and it works wonder. The Walking Company happened to sell this brand. I was at the Mall of America, and I stopped by to check it out. Good thing the store was not huge, and the selections were pretty easy to narrow down. I was greeted right away and was asked of what I was looking for. I told them exactly what I was looking for. The guy gave me some info and then he asked me to take a look around to make up my mind while he was putting some stuff in the back. I said ok. While he was absent, another guy came and helped me. I felt a tad awkward as I didn’t mean to switch guy, and I didn’t know if they were working on commissions. However, the other guy came back and he seemed fine to let me go to the other guy. I was like. alrighty then. They took a couple scans of my feet to make sure a «3D fit» and when I tried the shoes on, it was night and day to any shoes I have ever worn. It felt so comfortable right of the bat, I couldn’t believe it. The price wasn’t cheap but there was a 25% discount that day. Sweet! After the discount, it put the shoes around $ 100, which still wasn’t cheap, but much better than the original price. Then, the guy that was helping me brought out these inserts and put them in the shoes, and asked me to try it. I was like… okay, let’s try. OMG, it made shoes that are already comfortable to be even more comfortable. I was like. holy God, how could that be? Those inserts just filled every gap I had between my feet and the shoes. I have never felt so supported in my life, not even from my parents. This is the most support I had ever gotten ever. They convinced me to wear the shoes right away and ditched my dingy worn Asics. I complied. When it was time to pay, the guy told me the inserts will add about $ 60 to the price. I was surprised as I thought it came with it, however it was $ 29.99 per insert. If I hadn’t worn them and they weren’t on my feet and I didn’t feel as comfy as I was, I probably would say no just because it brought up the price so high. However, when you can buy comfort, do it! So I did. I didn’t regret spending that much money. My feet were actually feeling happy, and my knees aren’t in pain anymore. It’s shocking what a great pair of shoes can do! I liked it so much I went back and bought Abeo flip flops. Summer is coming and after feeling this great on these shoes, I just wanted the same type of support with my sandals. My Abeo sandals were the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. It was $ 89 but I had a feeling it would be a very well spent $ 89. Big thing to point out. these aren’t ugly looking footwear either. At times, people associate comfort with ugly. My gym shoes look like regular gym shoes. My flip flops look like black flip flops. At first I was a little p. o’d that the guy didn’t say that those inserts would cost me more money, let alone $ 60. However, if he did, I wouldn’t have purchased it. He was smart. He let me experienced it and felt the benefit. Once I did, I didn’t want to part with it and paid the price. He was a good salesman, as not only he secured the sale, he actually helped me from not missing out on a good beneficial product for being a cheap bastard. Thanks Walking Company. I’m a fan and will be buying a lot of shoes in my future at your store.

Friendly folks to fit your feet with comfy shoes. Even though the shop is pretty small, they have a surprisingly large collection of shoes.

Excellent service. Tracey understood the type of shoe that I wanted and brought out three or four pairs to try on. Since that store didn’t have the color that I wanted, she phoned a few other stores to try to locate a pair for me. I bought one pair of shoes — on sale! No tax in MN, but I will probably visit the Michigan Ave store in Chicago now that I know the type of shoes that are offered.
