This is the third time I’ve shopped here. I sold some unsold garage sale items here and obtained a store credit of $ 4 something. I found a Merry Christmas pillow and resin dog. The cashier just put this in a plastic bag. No wrapping it up or anything. I took out of my trunk to show someone and bonked it on trunk. Now there is a crack and gouge in back of the dog. I should have insisted he wrap it in paper or bubble wrap and he didn’t offer. No returns. They also give you garage sale prices for your items. The location is far from my home so I probably won’t return. Just insist they wrap even a resin type of item for you.

A higher end GoodWill-type «thrift» store. Find really nice used items there constantly. Signed wildlife prints that sell for over $ 200 for $ 20.00. Discount sales frequently. They need to double the size for their store in Minnetonka!

Called ahead to see if they’d want 2 file cabinets I was trying to help my mom get rid of, they said sure, went to the store, asked again… 3 people working there gave an enthusiastic «yes!» and said «bring them in»… lucky I brought my brother-in-law with me to help. Wrestled them into the store, they spent several minutes explaining that it would take them about 10 more minutes to give us a price. 10 minutes later, they said they wouldn’t buy them, I offered «free» to avoid having to re-load them into my car (they’re big 4 drawer cabinets), they don’t do «free», we had to take them back out. One of the employees helped with one of them (getting the store 2 stars here :-)) They said good will would take them. Drove them to goodwill, at least they didn’t make me take them out of the car to find out that they don’t accept «office furniture». Oh well.

Well, this was a win. They buy merchandise, cash on the spot, all day long and put it out immediately. I took in a few nearly new but no longer needed household deco items and came out with a Pyrex mixing bowl that matches my set, a good quality springform cake pan, and an extra 25 cents. All the merchandise is nicely displayed; the store is clean and well-organized.

It’s a clean furniture consignment place! This is a college freshman’s dream place to look for decent furniture at decent prices. I have all the furniture my little apartment can handle, however, I could see scoping this place out for wall pieces and good size mirrors. Fun place to run through, I’m not sure which day they add material, it would be good to know. It’s also a huge plus that it doesn’t have that musky smell that can be found at consignment shops.
