I was extremely happy with the service I was provided on my recent visit. Carol has a great eye and a fantastic attention to detail I have never experienced. Not only was it the best haircut I’ve ever received, but the best experience all around! Thank you and I am looking forward to my next visit!

Found Roosters while working in Denver a few months ago and was happy to discover this franchise near my home in Minnesota. This is an upscale shop catering to men. Easy appointments online, with full selection grooming services offered. This was my 4th visit to the franchise, the first to the Minnetonka location, and it’s always a pleasant experience. Amanda does a great job!

First time at Roosters, I went online and scheduled an appointment. The scheduling online is by far the best I have seen, has all the open spot to show you who is available. I normally go to Sports Clips and normally is a crap shoot. I scheduled my appointment with Leah, She was very nice and patient. I needed to bring my daughter with me and was not an issue for her and was very nice to her. Leah took the time it was needed to understand what I want and how I get my haircut. Started with a Massage on the shoulders and then haircut followed by wash and then hot towel. The haircut came out very nice I would recommend her to all of my friends.

I’ve been going to Rooster’s for about 2 years after moving to Hopkins from outside of the Twin Cities. The first 2 stylists who cut my hair left after about 2 months — just when I started to get used to them and them to me. The 3rd stylist — Casey — has been terrific ever since I let her know that if she leaves, I’ll find another place — 3 strikes and Roosters is out! The scalp and shoulder massages are the perfect remedy for wrapping up a workday after the office grind. Although there are places nearer to where I live and work, I’ll be going to Roosters as long as Casey is working there.

First, Miyako is so great! She’s kind, sweet, and most important, she is a talented pro at cutting and styling. I adored her and will absolutely be back on her calendar! 5 stars for Miyako. And, that’s a good thing, because the older blond gal who greeted me at check-in was OBNOXIOUS when I arrived. I asked if she would recommend a certain person for a particular hair type and I was treated as though I asked if she knew how to drink water… as if I was absurd for asking such a question. She deflected and said, «Well, everyone is good». Look, everyone has talents and not everyone is «good» at the same thing — that’s how it is. I think most people would agree that certain people specialize in certain things… color, extensions, ethnic hair, etc. and my question was not inappropriate, at all. After she refused to give me any sort of answer, she reminded me of the price of a cut(I didn’t ask). I felt it was almost as if to let me know I was in the«wrong» place. Granted, my stance is conjecture, but why would she do that? Self admittedly, I wasn’t in my Sunday-Best(God bless yoga!); nonetheless, her behavior was rude and unwarranted. She set the stage as a business who doesn’t know how or want to consult. Because you’re a men’s salon, you don’t consult? Should that be my takeaway? Like I said, they are lucky they have Miyako or I’d one-star the place because of the blond. Such a shame, because I love small-business boutique-ish places!

I came here to get my first haircut since moving to minnesota by way of boston. I am very particular about my hair so I was a bit apprehensive to a new person cutting it. The service was friendly and warm, and the haircut exactly what I asked for. A nice scalp and shoulder massage with an attentive shampooing. Then I tried another barber in downtown Minneapolis. I won’t name names but it seemed they paid more for their amenities than than a knowledgable staff. I got a haircut I was not happy with and the next day went back to Roosters. On my return trip I described what I needed fixed and brought a picture along. They fixed it up perfectly and didn’t even charge me for a full haircut. Afterwards the barber wrote some notes on how I liked my hair and kept it for next time. Needless to say I’ll be a regular there for now on.

My hubby has gotten his hair cut here a few times. His stylist was Amanda, and she did a great job! I love the products they use!

Roosters in Minnetonka was very impressive! It feels like I entered my own personal man-cave complete with free wifi, an iMac to check my email and surf the Internet, a cozy fireplace and couch, and a mini-bar to enjoy some refreshments while I waited. It was a great start to an even better experience. Next, hair-stylist Miyako took care of me. She said she is Japanese from Tokyo. What a lovely hairdresser! She gave me an amasing shiatsu scalp oil massage, and I really liked the way she cut my hair. She made my hair super manageable, clean, and put some trendy style on it. My hair feels and looks great. I can’t remember ever enjoying getting my hair cut this much! I could go on-and-on about my experience, so I’m just gonna cut this short and say, if you’re a man in need of a haircut, you must try this Roosters!

This spot specializes in men’s hair cuts and was formerly known by another name(Raze) but after the big chain company decided to cut them loose it was bought by a local operator and renamed Roosters They still have all the save features, big comfy leather chairs, hot towels, scalp massages and lots of TVs with sports playing and most of the same staff. I’ve been a client now for a couple of years and am very happy with the service, quality and price(around $ 30 for a men’s cut). I would recommend them to any guys wanting to upgrade from one of those bargain haircut places. It’s nice to feel a little pampered.
