Start Line Running Store

Better gait analysis than the running room which have me a pair of shoes that help for walking but absolutely terrible for my running gait! Love my new hokas.

The owners are there because they love running and love sharing that passion with others. Each time I have been in they have helped me in more ways than just buying shoes. Last time Keith even took the time to help me modify my training plan after being out two weeks from an injury. Plus, it was really exciting hearing about different races from experienced racers, makes this newbie excited to get moving!

I have been a regular customer at the store in the past few years and I always had good experience when a male sales associate helped me. Unfortunately the female associates are not helpful at all and I will not spy who is working when, so I will not be returning at all. Ladies go elsewhere!

The staff of Start Line Running Store were very attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. They listened to my needs and offered many options. I ran my first outdoor 5k in — 11 degree weather in Minnesota — all decked out thanks to them! I felt like I was in good hands and they made sure I was happy with my shoes, given my upcoming marathons. They are passionate runners themselves and the most helpful and personable running store I have done business with yet! Customers can be assured that you get your bang for your buck in this store. :)

I am an avid runner and buy all my shoes and supplies at Start Line. It’s not the biggest or fanciest store, but the employees know their stuff and take the time to help you.
If you’re looking to buy your first pair of «real» running shoes, Start Line staff will have you try on as many shoes as it takes to find just the right fit for your foot. They’ll also get you running on the treadmill to check out how they work in action.
Their prices are reasonable for shoes, gear, and accessories. There’s a big selection of clearance shoes along the wall, and usually a couple racks of clearance apparel that’s going out of season. Start Line is definitely worth a drive across town — you’ll be a customer for life!
