We love Minong, WI. My family has been going there for years in the summers. Wonderful lakes, campgrounds, boat rentals and restaurant like The Longbranch and Bootlegger’s are great. Go to the Village Scoop, it serves up delicious cones, cups and shakes of Cedar Crest goodness … aahhhh. The town of Gordon, Wi, just 5 miles away has the 2nd largest 4th of July fireworks in the state and are AMAZING! Other little festivals and in-​town events are fun, outdoor volleyball at Longbranch and mini-​putt across the street, grabbing some low-​priced bags of Jack Link’s jerky at the local market in town, and great fishing are just some of the many things that keep us coming back year, after year!

There is NOTHING… and I quite literally mean NOTHING to do here. I had to spend a summer here as a camp counselor and when I had a day off, there was literally one ice cream shop and a drug store near by. The. End. Maybe if you love the middle of no where and want to get away from it all, this is your place, but I can’t stand it.
