Coastal Movers

I wish I could give them 20 stars!!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ron and Coastal Movers. In 2010 I was planning a move from IL to CA. I called every company under the sun in order to get the best deal possible (this included places like Budget, Uhaul, etc — where I would have to pack and unpack myself as well as drive that beast 2200 miles across country). I finally found Coastal Movers and spoke to Ron. The cost was so much more affordable than anyone else I had spoken to. Cost included loading the vehicle, unloading the vehicle, as well as gas. Every detail was discussed with me and I felt very comfortable moving forward with this company. The move was absolutely SEAMLESS! There was truly no way the process could have gone more smoothly. In fact, I had such an AMAZING experience that I saved every single document from the transaction to ensure that I would be able to contact the same company if I ever wanted to move across the country again.
Lo and Behold, 4 years later I needed to move back from CA to LA. I of course called Ron immediately and we set up the move back. Again, from start to finish, the process was soooooo simple and really left me with peace of mind. Ron even looked up storage facilities for me to contact as well as letting me know what size was needed for my amount of things. There really aren’t enough complimentary words in the dictionary to express how easy and great my experiences have been with Ron and this company. I will continue to use them if I ever move again and I ALWAYS recommend them to anyone in need of long distance movers. Thanks so much Ron and Coastal Movers!

I used Coastal Movers for our move from IL to CA and I highly recommend them. Mr. Ron was very patient in addressing our concerns since this was the first-​time (and hopefully last time) that my husband and I were doing a long-​distance move. Most of all, he helped us in stay within our budget.
As the owner of Coastal Movers, Ron dropped by our house personally to do the in-​house estimate. He explained everything there is to know about moving, do’s and don’ts and red flags for a possible moving scam. All in all, my only regret was not picking up the Yellow Pages early on so I could have saved myself the stress of calling and getting in touch with different movers who mostly preferred to just give a non-​binding quote via their website. My worst experience was from Mayflower Van Lines where the person who was supposed to go our house to do the quote called 30 mins before the set time to cancel because there was a conflict in his schedule. So much for taking 3 hours off from work just to meet with him.
I can never thank Coastal Movers enough for making our move as stress-​free as possible. Thank you, Ron and I wish more businesses for you.
