Conlin’s Furniture

Terrible customer service! We are very frustrated and disappointed! We purchased a beautiful leather couch and love seat last September and have had nothing but problems! We had to get one fixed back in Jan but it took until almost March until they actually fixed it for us! The couch started acting up in April and we ordered a new part! It is now almost august and apparently the part for it is still not in! We just want a couch that works! They don’t care to help us at all and we are very very frustrated… especially since our set was over $ 3000!!! Never ever buying from them again!

It pains me to write a bad review about a local dealer. Unfortunately, even though the dealer is local, do not expect the type of customer service you may be accustomed to in Minot. We decided to buy at Conlin’s in Minot instead of stores in Fargo and Grand Forks because we are loyal to Minot. But Conlin’s will not return that appreciation or attitude to you. They will nickel and dime you. We spent a lot of money, thousands, on a furniture set. We could have gotten free delivery from stores in Fargo, but Conlins charged $ 125 for delivery to our house, less than 2 miles away. We were misquoted a price by over $ 1,000 on a coffee table/​ottoman set. When delivered, they would not honor the price quoted, even though they admitted they quoted us the lower price. Don’t look for any discounts, even though we could have gotten deals in other stores outside of Minot. We made the mistake of giving customer loyalty and spending many thousands at a place that does not value Minot residents. It is very sad because we all think of Minot as a family. Conlin’s is shameless. Please go to another retailer and do not give your loyalty to this business. We will not make such a mistake again. You will get better value and better consideration at other local businesses.

Just a shopping! Ok, where to begin. This place has so many cool, cool things. I love the customer sales reps. You guys rock. The lady I dealt with was just like me. Passionate about her job. I saw a secret drawer on a dresser and she was all like, well if you like that come look at this one. And it was almost like shopping with my best friend for a new dress for that blind date. She wasn’t overbearing and very nice. I hope to go back.
