Best bbq in minot, that’s not saying a lot unfortunately.

Very pricey and the portions could be larger but overall it’s pretty good food if your willing to pay big for small plates.

I have eaten in and also take-out a few times. Pulled pork is my favorite. All the meats have a good smokey flavor. Onion Tanglers are great… actually enjoy all their sides. Kids meals are free on Sunday… love that!

My husband and I had a situation occur at this location and Al the manager was quick to respond and had sincerely apologized for everything that had happened. Although mishaps occur the management at this location has shown they value and care about the customers and were quick to diffuse the situation.

First time we went there I got the pulled pork sandwich, beans and onion tanglers. My husband got same sandwich, mac n cheese and fried okra. Both of our sandwiches were cold. The second time we went there, to see if it was just a bad day or what, it was yesterday while passing thru Minot. it was terrible. I got beans and pulled pork. My husband got burnt ends, pulled pork and okra. They were COLDERTHATBEFORE. Like they grabbed the meat out of the fridge cold. The cashier was over by the food and put pickles on my sandwich WITHOUT wearing gloves. Then when I told her about it they all looked at me like I was crazy. Gross, I don’t know if you were just scratching your a $$ or picking your nose. We will NEVER be going here again. Oh, and their idea of burnt ends, which we love, is cut up cold brisket… it was just… I didn’t even want to pay, I wanted to just walk out. Should have!

Yum tried this place for the first time last night and I’m glad we did! The customer service was actually great. It was our first time there and they gave us samples to try so we could order what we liked, so that was cool. I ordered the beef brisket sandwich and uh it was so good! The Mac and cheese was bomb and so was the coleslaw. My fiancé ordered ribs and I tried those and they are worth the mess! Next time I go back I’m going to the ribs. Good hearty classic BBQ just what I wanted. I like how their food is more classic they don’t over do it like Famous Dave’s. I like famous Dave’s but I would choose Dickeys over them. Yummy! Service was fast too and I like how you order right at the counter and get ur food right away.

My husband and I have ate here on numerous occasions. The food is good but service is horrible. You tell 3 different people what your order is and they still mess it up. My husband trusted the person at the register that the order was right as they showed him everything as they put it in the bag. Being in minot, nd it seems that bad customer service is the norm. The manager of dickeys should evaluate their employees and try to ensure that they don’t show up to work half baked like another person commented on. I have seen that person working there. And try to emphasize that good customer service is provided. I have lived in bigger cities where franchises don’t last long if the service is horrible.

Ok, I normally wouldn’t do an update on a restaurant but I feel like if I don’t then I could be responsible for someone else having a bad experience here. I won’t bore you with the details but just know that the service and food were equally shitty on a Sunday at noon. Had the three meat plate and a sweet tea $ 19. Food was cold and tasted like it was all made a week ago. I’ve had better Dickey’s in the sketchy part of the DFW airport at closing time. I’ve always liked Dickey’s but this one just sucks.

This place was terrible. The food was cold and the meat was half fat. The guy gave us the leftovers from the cutting board in Itty bitty pieces and it was way over cooked like mush. The potatoe casserole was bland and dry and cold. The fries were cold and rubbery so I asked for new. By the time I got the new fries I was done eating. The so called free«ice cream» was DISGUSTING. The prices were extremely high for such poor quality food and small portions as well. The only thing not gross was the bun. Never going back ever!

First of all, this was a pleasant little find for me in minot. The only reason they received a lower star rating as their employees were a bit slow. Other than the longer than normal wait, they weren’t busy, the food was delicious. We ordered the XL family meal. The brisket was amazing. That’s a lot for me to say since I lived in Texas for 3 years. .This brisket was surprisingly better than what I’ve had. The pulled pork was average. no real flavor to it. But once you add the bbq sauce. .mmmmm. definitely will be going back.

First– I do not like the business model where everyone stands in line and orders as you go. That’s for sub shops not BBQ. You are just hearding your customers and it makes it awkward when someone orders online then you have to bypass the whole line. Now, I ordered online. It was great. Picked and choosed what I wanted. Should be ready in 15 min. Got there waited in line for 15 min after waiting 20 min by online. Order wasn’t ready. Waited again. Finally got the food. Took home and started to eat it. The good is ok. Nothing great, nothing bad. Ordered the brisket, pulled pork and ribs. Rib were by far the best. Fall off the bone good. The pulled pork and brisket were just your regular Anyone at home with a slow cooker could do. What I liked is they didn’t smoother it with BBQ sauce they put that in a cup and you made your own. The sides. Waffle fries– yum. Good seasoning, crispy. Just lovely. The potato salad was not my cup of tea. Was dilly. Very dilly for my liking. But others would like it. I’m more plan potato salad guy. Coleslaw was great. The buns were great as well. Over all we had the family feast pick 3 meats for 4 members eating this. There was plenty for the next 3 – 4 days after. Meat wasn’t over done and it was nice and tender. My comparison would be to famous dave’s BBQ spot. Although the comparison might not be equivalent. I think Famous Dave’s puts too much sauce on their stuff but the meat is more flavorful. I gave this café a solid 3 stars and I would rate a famous Dave’s a 3.5−4 stars. It’s a nice treat and if someone wanted some BBQ I would say go for it. Value is good.

Tried Dickies today but was disappointed as they didn’t have any brisket or pulled pork left. Got the two meat tray and some ribs on the side. The chicken was dry though smokey and the polish sausage was tasty. Ribs were flavorful but far from«fall off the bone» as advertised in the window. Onion tangler side was really crispy and a nice addition. They were also out of the sweet tea and lemons . Unfortunately I didn’t get to try the brisket or pulled pork but based of what I tried I might’ve graded 3 stars overall. However with so many missing items I couldn’t give them more than a 2 for now.

Be sure to check your food before leaving if you make a take out order. My wife and I ordered the 3 meat plates and we were sorely disappointed in the portions. 3 meats in a paper nacho tray that you would get at a gas station is hardly enough food unless it was for children. I got all the food that I order but they neglected to give my wife the right items and only 2 items at that. The plate I order was ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. The pulled pork was dry, the brisket was dry and the ribs were a workout to get off the bone. Might have been better if we had some barbecue sauce. My wife had pulled pork and some cheese sausages. Too bad she order ribs and brisket instead of the sausage. Many of the same complaints as myself, the best part was the sausage but kinds of hard to mess that up. The sides could be larger as well but they were pretty good. I am hoping the is the just the opening pains but I give places 3 chances before I never go back.

Food was actually quite tasty! One of the few good places to eat in Minot right now. The biggest negative for me was that they do not open on time. At least today they didn’t. They advertise an open time of 11am but even though a line of customers was already forming(about 20 people deep) they did not open their doors until about 1115 — 1120. Some people got frustrated and left before this. Not a great start for a new business to already be losing customers! My husband and I got the picnic pack with beef brisket, coleslaw and Mac n cheese. The food was very filling and did not leave my stomach feeling heavy… which is mind boggling for BBQ! Food was not greasy, and meat was tender and juicy even after a reheat. Hope this restaurant sticks around!
