LongHorn Steakhouse

My family eats here quite a bit — from 12 to 78 years old — everything from burgers to steaks, and we’ve been pleased with the food and service. Occasionally we’ve had an extra long wait for a table or slow service, even a steak that wasn’t cooked right the first time, but they’ve always made it right and there are some things the restaurant cannot control. I’ve never been there and seen staff standing around while customers wait. Overall, Longhorn has been a consistent winner.

Love this place. You can always count on the perfect Outlaw Ribeye! Very juicy, tender, well seasoned and full of flavor.

We have been there twice. Disinterested waitstaff. Bland steaks. Overpriced for what you get.

We live in Texas and the Longhorn by our house is amazing. We were excited when we saw something familiar when we came to visit our son. First, the service was terrible. We had to clear plates off of our own table, we had to find our own salt and we went without water a majority of our meal. My steak was overcooked, my sons chicken fried steak was greasy and foul tasting and we had to ask for bread to be brought to our table. I know the chain in self is very good, but this one restaurant was a huge disappointment.

I love this place the food is delicious, I love their ribs their nice and juicy and the Parmesan chicken too. Totally recommend.

Steaks were good-​lobster resembled something, certainly not lobster and tasted like a mouth full of salt– food was room temperature and after sending it back for a hot dish, it came back room temperature. Definitely will not eat there again. Primos is by far better and less expensive.

Environment was nice, and the food was pretty good! My advice if you like the taste of your meat is to ask for half seasoning. It can get to be a little overbearing. Other than that everything was delicious!

There is slim pickings for good restaurants in the area. It is welcoming to see the chain restaurants for a more familiar feel when visiting.
Came in for lunch with a party of 6. We were greeted immediately and taken to our table. Service was prompt and all of the orders were out quickly.
We stated with the best of Longhorn sampler app w/​stuffed mushroom, Wild West shrimp, and Firecracker Chicken wraps. Along with the jalapeño Shooters. The table agreed all were very good!
For entrees I opted for the Spinach Feta Chicken. The chicken was so tender and juicy. Yummy! Others ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, Ribeye, Sirloin, and the Burger combo with soup. Everyone raved that their dish was spot on good except for the burger meat was dry.
Over all we all enjoyed our meals. I’ll keep this one on the raider for future visits.

We have been here at least ten times since it opened. While the food was only so-​so at first, now it is amazing. This is easily the best place in town to get a steak. We have always had great service. If you go during a rush time, expect to wait 45+ minutes for a table. This is the way all of Minot is though. Great food and service. We will definitely be back.

Food is great. Staff has been increased and all tables were a go. Staff was excellent. Had to give a minus one star because if you are a steak place you shouldn’t be charging for steak sauce. Food was cooked to order and was cooked right. The apps were fantastic. Always a healthy portion. I’ll Keep going back.

Ordered a Manhattan… it was straight Bourbon. Ordered food, prime rib, and it came out in five minutes. Unfortunately, this was well before the salad. The food tasted good; however, the execution was pathetic. Finally, no bartender should ever go behind a partition to make a drink.

The hand breaded shrimp were excellent, rib-​eyes were heavily seasoned but done perfect, Travis our waiter provided excellent service.

This place clearly isn’t ran well. I’ve had a handful of fantastic servers, but when there are 20+ empty tables and a wait… We were actually turned away last Sunday night because food was taking an hour to come out of the kitchen. 3 stars because most of the staff is really nice, food is decent, and where else are you going to go!

Horrible service Every time!!! We went there two weeks after the opening, the waiting time to get in was 2 hrs. Since it was the new place to go we waited! The funny thing is that more than half of the tables at the restaurant were empty. When we asked why? the answer was that they were short in waitress but were more than welcome Togo someplace else!
Today we went like at 3:30 pm (it has been months since the opening) the whole restaurant was empty, but we were given a pager and were told to wait 30 to 45 minutes for a table. I asked why, and the sarcastic answer from the two hostesses was because they were in a shift change :-/​we asked then if we could seat in the bar (since I saw a bartender ready to work) and again the sarcasm in the hostesses was horrible, they say «no! You can’t do that! You have to wait» I think management in this place is a joke! We left, went around the corner to Badlands, (again the place was empty) but we got seated right away and got the best service ever!!!

We have been there three times since it opened. Yesterday I think was the worst!!! It was over 30 minutes for our food came out. And to top it off the french fries old and cold. My chicken was very salty too! Never saw a manager. On a side note the server was really nice. I her talk about times up 50 minutes waiting for food! That is just crazy! I don’t we will ever go back!!!

The food is a lot better than some places we’ve visited. But every time we go in it’s one thing or another. Either terrible food or terrible service. We’ve never had an all around good experience. I’ve even had to go to the bar to refill my own drink. That was last month! Good luck going… I wish you the best.

Been to Longhorn restaurants in several states and this is hands down the worst one we have ever visited! Tried this place twice since it opened last Fall. Food has been decent both times but the service, not so much. I was so looking forward to a juicy ribeye last week but after an hour and 45 minute wait, squished up against a wall in the too tiny waiting area, my party of five just gave up and left. There seemed to be several open tables the entire time but the waitstaff and hostess were so busy visiting and discussing customer complaints that… well, you know how sometimes when you wait so long to do something that after a while you don’t even want to do it anymore? That’s what happened to us. Don’t think I will be going back. Too bad because I really do like this chain.

This place sucks it’s a hour wait so we went to the bar. I didn’t have my id with me left my purse at hotel. So decide I would not drink and becuz I didn’t have my id they told me I couldn’t sit at the bar had to get up with my party I was with and leave we had a group of 7

We waited twenty five minutes in a mostly empty restaurant. We were told it was shift change so they couldn’t seat anyone. When we were finally seated our waiter was really nice, but our food took forever. 45 minutes all together. My wife had a burger and I had a 8oz. Sirloin. My steak was overdone, and they forgot to give my wife her BBQ sauce and onion straws she originally ordered. It could have been fixed, but after getting our food nobody stopped by to check on us for about 10 minutes. We were hungry. We ate and paid. Not a good experience.

Décor: Has a rustic cabin feel to the place. Wood floors with an animal head on the wall, the works.
Service: It was decent no complaints.
Food: The food was really good quality.
I had the Porterhouse for 2 (30oz) with 2 side salads, mashed potatoes, and green beans. The mashed potatoes were deliciously creamy and the green beans were nicely cooked. Only draw back was that their portions are small. The porterhouse is 30oz, but you have to remember that the T-​bone takes up some weight too. So actually I ate 24oz of meat. Finished it no problem and even ate a whole loaf of their free bread with it. The steak was well marbled and tender. At $ 40.99 the meal was over priced.
Would I go back? Yes I would, just not for the 30oz porterhouse.
