The Black Iguana

Everything I’ve tried has been awesome, really great and friendly service, and just a really cool atmosphere. Whenever I’m nearby I stop in. Would highly recommend!

The Black Iguana is everything you could hope for in a local coffee shop and more. With a huge selection of coffee, tea, fruit smoothies and even custom Italian soda where you choose your own flavor mixes.
This place was a bit of a local secret. It’s actually tucked into part of another business. The signs outside advertise Margie’s Art Glass Studio and Ceramics Café, but inside is also the Black Iguana.
Split into two floors, on the top floor you have the Black Iguana coffee and tea bar along with an art gallery worth of custom ceramics and glassware for sale. It’s a nice place to sit and lounge with your drink. You can sit at the tables and see all the artwork for sale, or sit in the front window and people watch.
Downstairs is the ceramics studio in the front and a glass works in the back. Both are open to the public and you can paint your own ceramics or work on your own glass artwork. The staff will bring you drinks from the Black Iguana and show you how to get started on your artwork.
So whether you are an artist looking for a place to hang out or just need a drink and a place to relax, this is great local hangout and a really friendly staff.
