Went for breakfast. Food was bad and the service was horrible. Omelet was scorched on the outside and running inside, veggies were raw — raw onion, raw, spinach, raw mushrooms. Had a couple of the homefries off the first plate but when I got the recook I was told the homefries were still cooking. after waiting and waiting and waiting, I asked about the homefries and was told they were still boiling. So they actually ran out and didn’t offer anything else. Server didn’t have a clue and didn’t care about how my breakfast was going. I asked for two waters and she brought one, asked for a coffee and she didn’t bring cream or a spoon. We had toast and muffins but had to ask her for butter. We will not be back or recommend this place to anyone.

Friendly staff and good made from scratch food. The building and atmosphere are absolutely adorable.

The Cottage is an old home converted into a restaurant – super cool concept with an even more charming décor! Comforting and homely. what else could you ask for. There’s no place else I’d rather go for breakfast when in town. The food is prepared fresh right in their kitchen immediately after ordering, portions are a good size, and everything’s reasonably priced. Traditional homestyle food & some good coffee too, nothing exceptionally fancy, but the quaintness of it all is what’s to be appreciated the most!
