Showcase Drywall

Every now and then you run into people that open your eyes. I had a hole the size of a bowling ball in my living wall from a now infamous hover-​board fall! I had been calling around and no one would take the call because of the size. I was at Dunn Edwards and an employee there showed me Terry’s business card on the wall. I gave him a call and told him the scenario… to my surprise he had some availability later that same day. Terry and Chris showed up right on time and 1 hour later my wall looked like new! What’s interesting is the night before my new bathroom faucet began to leak and I had asked Terry if he knew a plumber, not only did he know one but within another hour Chris and Terry had removed the cheap plastic faucets, hooked me up with a referral to a reputable dealer, and set up an appointment for the following day to drop by and install them. As a young homeowner I’ve tried to do so much on my own when it comes to work on my house. But sometimes big jobs require a professional.
There’s one word that summarizes my experience with Showcase Drywall… EXCEPTIONAL!
From service to personality, I’ve found my guy that I will call first whenever there is something I need done on my home.

I always do my research and take time selecting the contractors for my home. I could not be happier with the work that Terry did in my home and signed up to write my first Unilocal review.
1. I was referred to Terry with Showcase from a friend and he was quick with setting up my estimate. From the beginning of the estimate, it was clear that Terry was very knowledgable and honest with our options for our living room remodel. He spent a lot of time going over what was possible and within our budget and even helped with the choosing of the layout and paint (this is our first house and we were so lost). The estimate was very reasonable and we were able to schedule for a few days out.
2. When he began working, he always was on time and checked in with me about the process. We had an entire wall knocked down to give the living area a more open concept layout and I was surprised at how quickly he got this done. He also removed the popcorn ceilings, so they have a smooth modern finish now and installed new trim and paint. It looks like a completely different room, we are so happy with the results.
3. We had been thinking about doing a built in for our TV in the living room, but initially held off. We changed our minds when the living room was finished, because Terry did such a beautiful job. I’m so glad we went forward will the built in for the TV and speaker system, my husband is obsessed with it and now all of the gadgets look clean with the wall built ins.
I will definitely call Terry if we need anymore home improvements done and can’t recommend him enough. I also gave my friend who recommended him a high-​five.
