Ansin Park

Nice complex track meet was ran very smoothly each time we have been here. Finally a nice track in this area.

Ansin Sports Complex is a refreshingly clean and well maintained Track and Field stadium. I’ve been here several times and they have always been very well organized. The field, prior to sustained abuse from competitors is always flawless. Image a 15 pound weight flying 40 meters to crash into grass… there will be potholes! That said, the grounds crew does a great job of fixing it up for the next event.
Fortunately, every time I’ve been here, it’s been a clear sky kind of day. I usually end up leaving with a nice sun burn. My only complaint is the lack of shaded areas… but frankly, I’m not sure where to put them other than the edges of the track. On a previous visit, I got to tour the internal lockers and they were in great shape.
Bottom Line: Great place to have an event, but bring something to create some shade!
