Best Haitian restaurant in Miami. Had the griot and legume. Both were excellent. Will definitely be back. Nice spot with good vibes.

Ok, first off this is NOT a five star restaurant. This is a local place, many wouldn’t give it a second glance because it doesn’t have a great outdoors appeal. Walk inside and the décor is eclectic. Staff is friendly and greets customers by name(many are regulars) eat-in or take out; this spot has now become my restuarant of choice for Haitian food, and I live in Kendall !!! things I’ve had are –Goat —OWO I mean WOW !!! taste this here and BAMMMM you’re hooked… very well seasoned, no gamy taste, you may not even know you’re eating goat !! (has a touch of spicy to it) — Griot/fried pork — tender /well seasoned — fried turkey chunks — again well seasoned an alternative to the fried pork recommend it — fried fish — I’m not a fish lover but I do enjoy seafood, HANDSDOWN a must — it is said he marinates it for a couple of days then, deep fry it.(whole fish w bones). Others have had the Legume and love it. Have not tried it personally yet. Sometimesif you’re lucky the owner may bring you a samples of his dishes to try, I’ve been lucky to taste his soup and was pleased with it. If you’re ever in Pines, stop by grab a plate I’m sure you’ll be hooked as I am.

The food here is DELICIOUS& you get more than enough!!! I’ve had the fish, fried turkey& the fried pork! Definitely a must try!!! The rice is always perfect and the onion garnish that is placed over the meat is simply scrumptious!!! The atmosphere isn’t 5 star but the food is!!!
