I love the food here its great but I’ve driven from downtown Miami twice just to be told I must wait 30 minutes for food to be ready really looking for another spot.

I Love this place. My friend took me here and I wasn’t a vegetarian but I gave it a shot. So I tried the pepper steak. OMGYES I’m currently transitioning into a pescatarian There is also a cool little shop next the restaurant. Clothes, classic albums, and STICKERS

For the food, they get 5 stars, but the service itself is not so good. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone there and they have ran out of this and that. It’s quite annoying to get all the way there and them not have what it is you want to order. One Saturday they opened LATE(when you are waiting for them to open, you understand the frustration) and then they started off the day with no «strips!» I never understood how restaurants can run out of the most popular thing on the menu. Just plan poor planning… Anyway, the folks ARE friendly and the food is excellent.

This place is alright, not my favorite tasting and kind of pricey. Since I’m vegetarian and eat Caribbean food, it is a place I would eat but not necessarily go out of my way to go to. I prefer Treelion down the street. I heard this place years ago was better when it was owned by a different family/had different cooks.

I teach in a Jamaican neighborhood and have tried my fair share of jamaican restaurants. I have to say that this is by far the best around. The food is incredibly fresh, healthy, and flavorful, I can’t help coming back for more!

We find this place on Unilocal because it was the closest place to us that was still open and served vegetarian food. He was about to close so we called to ask if he could stay open for us as we were cabbing over. Because of his willingness to serve us we had an immensely satisfying meal that left us stuffed and for a very reasonable price. We had one of everything and it was ALL good! He said all the recipes were his grandmother’s and you could taste the love it was prepared with. We had the BSP shake which was amazing! He rattled off a list of like 20 ingredients it had in it which were all really nutritious. If we weren’t just passing through town we’d make this place a regular spot!

This is a small rasta place in east Miramar. Nothing enticing about the outside, or inside but if you are a vegi or love vegetarian food you’ll like it here. I had curry chunks with rice and peas with salad. Quick, easy and early lunch. We had also some natural juices that tasted really homemade. Sorrel and I had mango and berries! Very good.

went with my bro so he can get his veggie delight on. we went around 8pm and they were already out of food, which is a good thing. that you know the food prepared daily but still an inconvenience if you go for something special. the portion sizes are huge and affordable. just don’t ask for pork lol

I’ve eaten here at least 4 more times and dragged my carnivore copilots with me and every one said they’d come back again. One even SUGGESTED that we go back again on our second day of waiting. I’m telling you, this place satisfies. The biggest drawback is that there are only 2 tables instead of 20. We’re going back today as well and I can’t wait!

Have to go at least once a week! The patties are wonderful and I grab box fulls. And all that I’ve had(which is about everything) has been wonderful.

One of the things I miss most about living in Miramar is Vegetarian Delight. The line out the door, the family run business, the Rastas praying and the food. OH, the FOOD. The ‘fish’ is my favorite, the portion sizes huge, patties made from scratch and oh that cucumber juice. I’m not a fan of ital, but that’s a personal preference. Don’t let it deter you from stopping in. The price is unbelievable for the portion sizes, and I’ve never had friendlier service. These guys are on my schedule every year as a must stop. Yes, it’s a little hard to find(especially with all of the construction), but if you turn west on Miramar Parkway from 441 and look across the street from Stingerz lounge it’s easy to find. Oh, and get the large if you’re going to share. Trust me — you’ll still have leftovers.

Ital food at its best. Come here and you’re likely to see Rasta’s of all walks of life. It is a restaurant that caters specifically to the Rastafarian diet? WICKEDCOOL. It’s on the corner and a little difficult to find but don’t let the appearance of the store fool you. What’s that saying? Never judge a book by it’s cover? Well, practice that here. It looks a bit run down but those are always the most scrumptious. Seeing as how it was a ras that introduced me to this ital restaurant, it could only mean one thing: rasta approved! YES! Don’t worry, if you’re not Rastafarian you wont be turned away but if you are trying to eat healthy, this is another alternative. They offer a variety of vegetarian dishes prepared jamaican style. I ordered brown stew chunks and surprisingly, it was delicious. For those that are unaware of what«chunks» are, don’t be alarmed. It’s some sort of soy based«meat» or another. Try first, ask later. Bonus: they serve brown rice, fresh steam callaloo and even whole wheat boiled dumplings! Let me reiterate that… whole wheat boiled dumplings! Between the rice and the dumplings, that sealed the deal for me. As the name suggest, they also carry a number of natural juices. One coconut water for me, plz! Oh, I’ll be back. This I can promise you.
