I’m not generally one to write a rave review about a chain restaurant but Bonefish Grill is truly one of my favorite places to eat. I have never been to a single location where I did not enjoy the meal. The fish always tastes fresh, the cocktails are always delicious and it has a nice ambiance.

We had a pre-movie lunch soon after opening hours. There were only a few people there so early and we were seated immediately. As it was our first time at Bonefish, our server Vincent gave us a history of the restaurant and walked us through the menu. My mom had the filet and crab cake with au gratin potatoes and spinach. I had sirloin and crab cake with garlic potatoes and green beans. Our friend had tilapia with the spinach. There was also bread fresh from the oven with a oil and pesto dipping sauce. Everything was cooked perfectly. We had no complaints about the food. Mom and I shared the crème brûlée which was topped with freshly made whipped cream, raspberries and sprigs of mint. We also had the blackberry smash to drink(non-alcoholic) and it was yummy! Not too sweet. When we go back –and we will– we will definitely request Vinnie as our server. All the staff was friendly and dressed impeccable, from the host to the servers. It didn’t look or feel like a chain restaurant. Thank you Mishawaka Bonefish Grill for a wonderful start to our girl’s day!

I arrived in South Bend, IN earlier today, 3÷20÷16 and after shopping my aunt and I decided to stop by Bonefish Grill for an early dinner. Per my aunt her entrée was good, however I didn’t share that same sentiment because my meal wasn’t good on several levels. We both agreed that our appetizer the bang bang shrimp was not as good as our last visit. My sea bass is just ok and the big disappointment was with the truffle macaroni and cheese. Mine was delayed and in the interim I tasted my aunt’s which was good, however when mine arrived my disappointment increased. What was delivered to me looked a bit runny and undercooked with a very tiny amount of truffles. Comparing the two they looked entirely different and I shared my observation. The guy that brought mine out from the kitchen(not our waiter) didn’t show or express any interest in my concern about the visual difference. Our waiter(Ronald Bailey) was nice and tried to be accommodating, however the option of waiting on another dish while my just ok sea bass was getting cold wasn’t ideal. He offered dessert instead and I opted for the crème brûlée which was good. All in all our waiter was good but the food left a lot to be desired. I don’t plan to return to Bonefish Grill again. My two stars are for our waiter and my lemon drop martini.

I stopped into Bonefish Grill tonight while on a business trip. Bailey was my waiter. Very attentive and food was good+. Actually best food on this business trip so far. Thanks Bailey and Bonefish Grill!

This restaurant is a favorite of my son and daughter in law. My wife and I have joined them twice for dinner. Weekend reservations are a must. The specialty is as the name implies. The seafood is amazingly fresh and perfectly prepared. I had the rainbow trout and my wife had scallops and shrimp. Our kids had salmon. Everything was fresh and delicious. The shared chocolate crème brûlée was the perfect choice to round out a delicious dinner. Tables were a little close, and every inch of the dining room was filled. The place was very busy, but the staff made sure that everything ran smoothly.

I held back a star because the veggies were seriously underdone. More like blanched than cooked. We started with the Bang Bang Shrimp which speak for themselves. The service was amazing. There were servers navigating their way between tables in a dizzying display and whenever one of them saw the need to fill a water glass or refill a drink they wasted no time in seeing to it. The entrée we both had was the Rainbow Lake Trout, boneless and butterflied, deep fried and encrusted with a parmesan cheese, breadcrumb coating. Wonderful! It being our first visit, we look forward to returning.

Getting really tired of making reservations and getting there to find out they have no intention of seating you anywhere near your reservation time. Walked out tonight and probably won’t go back.

The food was good but the portion’s are small for the price .l had filet mignon, poatatos, and 2 salads and was still hungry. My fiancé had salmon, mash potatoes, lobster tails and she was full. Overall it was OK and good if you like seafood. The staff and atmosphere was good.

Wouldn’t go here if I was anywhere near a coastline. But for South Bend this place is pretty great. Prices are not bad for seafood. Get the mussels and dip that bread all up in that sauce. I also had moonfish there which was pretty good.

Had lunch with my mom’s high school classmate and his two kids. There were six of us and it only cost around $ 120 overall and we had a great meal. The restaurant was awesome and the service was a delight. Will come again when I visit south bend.

I always really like my visits to Bonefish. Even though it’s a chain, they’re consistently on point with service, food and drinks. I had the mule last weekend and it was fantastic! Fresh candied ginger, quality vodka and crushed ice — so delicious. As always, the BB shrimp was great. I had the filet and it was cooked perfectly and cut like butter. My husband had the pork chop and he was incredibly happy with his meal. I always make it a point to eat here when I’m in town. It’s one of the better quality restaurants in the area, IMO.

Everyone raves about their Bang Bang Shrimp, and for good reason. It’s fried with a mayonaise based spicey sauce. Service is friendly and fast. Pleasant atmosphere, good for date night or with friends.

Went for dinner at 7:15 and there was a 40 min wait. My 2 co-workers and I opted to sit a high top table in the bar area right away. Great service and great food. The recommendations from our server were spot on. My dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives were awesome as were my pan Asian style shrimp and scallops. Yum… yum…yum!

Our first experience at Bonefish was on July 6 and it won’t be our last!!! We posted a survey to family and friends on Facebook where we should celebrate our Anniversary. Bonefish was the winner! I called at 6:45pm to see if we could get a 7:15pm reservation b/c we were celebrating our anniversary. Without any hesitation I was told a table would be ready for us. We were wished Happy Anniversary as soon as we entered and gave our name for the reservation. We started with the Bang Bang Shrimp… Oh my goodness was that wonderful!!! I could have eaten more of that as my dinner. LOL My husband had the duel lobster tail with Yukon gold potatoes and a seasonal veggie. I had the Filet and Maryland Crab Cake dinner with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. I can’t even describe how wonderful the food was. The manager came over to our table and wished us a Happy Anniversary and gave us a box of chocolates. She also said dessert is on her and she gave us a dessert menu. My husband ordered the Key Lime pie and I had Crème Brûlée(first time I had it and let me tell you it was out of this world good!!!) We enjoyed ourselves very much and it was nice to celebrate our anniversary with a nice romantic dinner out. Thank you Bonefish for a wonderful experience!!!

Definitely my favorite restaurant in the area. Although the prices are a little on the high side, it is absolutely worth it for the service, atmosphere and quality of food. My favorite meal is the Lilly’s Chicken with a house salad — Yum!

We celebrated a friend’s birthday here and we had a wonderful experience. The place had a mellow feeling to it, especially with the candle. The waitress knew her stuff from how the food is prepared & all the ingredients in each dish. The manager was also welcoming & gave my friend a small box of chocolate for his birthday. The only negative thing I could think of was the price, the portions are on the smaller side but tastes really good. The bang bang shrimp was«bangin», a must get for sure.

We love coming here for date night. Sure, it’s a chain but it doesn’t feel like it! We love the bang bang shrimp, imperial longfin and the martini’s! There is a great ambiance, for sure. Bonefish is nice for work happy hours in the bar, too!

We rolled into South Bend late and were fortunate that Bonefish was still open. We Sat at the bar and the service was excellent. We order Salmon with Steamed Broccoli, and it was fine. Great atmosphere here, and the prices are reasonable. We would consider dining here again next time in SB.
