We visited with some friends today. The service was great(funny waiter!), and everyone loved their food but me. I liked it — just wasn’t as amazingly good as everyone else’s apparently was. I ordered the Beef Stew & Biscuits. The others in our party had Ahi tuna with collard greens & brussel sprouts, blackened catfish with shrimp étouffée, and a chicken Caesar wrap with navy bean and turkey soup with cornbread. We also had a beautiful appetizer of fried green tomatoes with a nice tangy sauce. The chef/owner came out to chat with us, and he was really nice. He brought us a sample of the pomegranate BBQ sauce he makes and it was really amazing, so we’ll definitely be back to sample something that that’s used in. They have breakfast, too — may have to give that a try as well. It’s too bad all the local restaurants seem to close on Monday

Nothing to write home about. Pork belly sandwich was average pulled pork. Won’t be back.

We tried this spot out for lunch today and will definitely be back! What impressed me immediately was how friendly and helpful the staff was. I ordered the grilled pimento cheese sandwich with sweet potato fries and loved every bite. The rest of the table ordered a chicken caesar wrap, egg scramble and turkey sandwich. They all said their meals were good, but nothing special. I would recommend ordering one of the traditional southern dishes, as that seems to be their specialty.

Friendly, quaint and good! I like the southern flare and chorizo gravy was a little spicy and a lit yummy!!! No pics this time because it was soooooo good and I’d forgotten.
